What People Are Saying
from Google"From the very first bite to the final sip, tonight’s dining experience was nothing short of world-class. This is the kind of restaurant that belongs on the global culinary map—an establishment where every plate is crafted with intention, love, and a level of skill that rivals Michelin-starred dining rooms around the world. Jackie and her boyfriend , the owner, are the heart and soul of this place. Her passion shows in everything—from the way she curates her menu to the way she personally trains her staff. Her energy is warm, her standards are uncompromising, and the culture she has created here radiates excellence. Watching Jackie and her boyfriend interact with guests, guide the team, and maintain such a joyful atmosphere is a reminder that fine dining doesn’t need to be pretentious—it just needs to be authentic. And the food… Every single dish tonight was a masterpiece. Perfectly balanced flavors, thoughtful plating, and an explosion of creativity in each course. You can taste the dedication, the craftsmanship, and the love infused into every ingredient. This is artistry—culinary storytelling at its finest. The drinks were equally impressive, mixed with precision and personality. Each cocktail felt intentionally designed to complement the food, elevating the entire dining experience. The staff deserves special recognition. Trained under Jackie’s leadership, they embody the hospitality and finesse you’d expect from a Michelin-level establishment: warm without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being rehearsed, and genuinely proud of the food they’re serving. I’m truly astonished this restaurant doesn’t already have a Michelin star. It deserves one—and more. Columbus is lucky to have a gem like this. I feel proud to have access to a restaurant that not only exceeds expectations but redefines what dining in this city can be. If you’re searching for a place that delivers an unforgettable culinary journey—stop looking and come here. You’ll understand instantly why this restaurant should be recognized on the world stage. A must-visit. A rare treasure. A future Michelin star, without question."
"I hesitate to leave a review for Plas because it is so good and I want to be my secret. However, the place was packed when we were there last, so the secret is already out. The food is creative and delicious, the service is amazing, and the every sitting area (outside, upstairs and the wine cellar) is beautiful. Just go, you will love it!"
"We hosted a birthday dinner here with 15 guests, and it was truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. But even before that, Jackie was wonderful to work with in helping to plan in advance of the event. The service was flawless — friendly, attentive, and professional. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. The ambiance and setting made the evening feel extra special — warm, elegant, and perfect for a celebration. We’re already looking forward to planning future events here. Huge thank you to the entire team for making this special birthday so memorable. Highly recommend!"
"My coworkers and I came here because they were very Vegan friendly and one of us is vegan. Unfortunately, we are a huge lunch and hadn’t gotten hungry enough by our dinner reservation. So we decided to eat apps and just have a snack-y dinner. We got the Vegan Cheese platter, the summer salad, heirloom caprese, polenta “fries,” and the crab and langoustine panzanella. Mixed reviews on the food. Favorites were the summer salad and caprese. The vegan cheese platter was fun with a lot of accoutrements but no crackers or bread which was weird. The polenta fries were well cooked but bland. There was some sort of sauce but it was also bland. With a better sauce, the polenta would have been higher on the list. The panzanella was worst dish. It was NOT a panzanella. No croutons. No tomatoes. No vegetables. It was a cold crab and langoustine salad on top of bread. We sent it back and they were very nice about it. But very disappointing. Lastly, for beverages, we tried a bunch of different options for their mocktail list. Very good! Overall, the service was great and the outdoor patio we sat in was beautiful and cozy. We would like to come back and try their entrees which looked very good. But for now, they get a 4."
"Ridiculous, as in ridiculously amazing! It started with amazing service - our server was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic! Drinks were delicious. Appetizers were incredible, our charcuterie board had duck prosciutto - who ever heard of that - but it was delicious. The pumpkin pie appetizer is a must. Entrees were excellent - everything had a creative take and unique ingredients, but the presentation and taste were delicious. Even the descriptions and names are creative, my lamb shank included chakalaka folio, who I thought was a recording artist in the '70's but its actually food. Cheesecake for desert, and even that was an improvement on normal cheesecake fair with a delicious caramelized top. Truly one of the best food experiences in downtown Columbus."
