What People Are Saying
from Google"Great venue to see live music. Outstanding sound in an intimate setting. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff polite and helpful. Parking is extremely limited."
"The bands playing were great, but VERY loud so protect your ears and bring earplugs. Their taps were not working when I went so they only had bottles of beer. The place is very small and it was fine earlier in the night but it got crowded quick. There's not much seating available, only the bar. The place definitely had grungy hole in the wall vibes so if u like clean fancy pretty bars this isn't for you. Parking was difficult had to park on the street about a 10 minute walk away."
"No food, only a bar. Could use a revamp and fresh paint. Not handicap accessible bathrooms. Tables are outside, just a few medium high stools to sit on inside. Sunday night music with HooDoo Soul Band is great! Mostly a younger campus crowd. But faithful from older generations are there too!"
"Har Mar Superstar, three times? Call me a Rumba Café lifer. This place isn’t just a venue—it’s an experience wrapped in funky vibes and sprinkled with a dash of “you’re gonna love it here.” The atmosphere is as eclectic as Har Mar himself—think cozy, yet buzzing with energy. The smoking patio? A literal breath of fresh air where you can swap concert stories while marveling at the stars. And the crew? Absolutely stellar. They’ve got that magical balance of friendly and professional, making you feel like a VIP every time. If you’re looking for a spot where the music is fantastic, the drinks are flowing, and the patio practically invites you to stage your own impromptu dance-off, this is it. Rumba Café gets me—and it’ll get you too. Bonus points if you spot me grooving there for a *fourth* Har Mar round."
"They have done the best with what they have. Saw a great band here this weekend (Wildermiss) and the sound quality was good. It’s a very small space which makes for a really intimate show. THERE IS NO FOOD but the bar has many drink options and the bartender was nice. If you’re looking for food there is a great pizza/wing place right next door. They’ve added as much seating as they can all while keeping a floor open for shows. Also, the bathroom was surprisingly nice! A+ on a clean bathroom with modern fixtures."
