"Great brunch space on a Sunday. Many choices on the menu. The fresh made beignets are out of this world. Eggs benedict over pork belly was outstanding. Chick and waffles also incredible - crispy chicken with sugar crisps in the Belgian waffles. Such a wonderful space."

"Reservation: 6:00 PM under “Wood.” This was my second time visiting the restaurant — the first experience was wonderful, which is why I returned. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. My guest and I were a small party of two. Our server did not introduce herself, and while the initial wait was understandable, the service throughout the evening was inconsistent and inattentive. When my short rib arrived, it was extremely fatty and not enjoyable, so I ordered truffle fries instead. When it was time for the check, I politely asked if the short rib could be removed since I didn’t like it. Instead of acknowledging my concern or asking what was wrong, the server abruptly grabbed the plate and walked away quickly. She didn’t address the issue or speak to me until she returned with the checks, and even then her tone and demeanor were passive-aggressive. The way the situation was handled made me feel dismissed and disrespected. As someone who genuinely enjoyed my first visit, I was disappointed by how unprofessional and unwelcoming this experience was. I hope this is taken as an opportunity for coaching and improving customer service, because no guest should be made to feel that way."

"We ordered salmon and friend chicken sandwich. We were hoping for Louisiana flavors locally but the food was pretty bland, at least for our liking. Service on the bar was great. Both bar tenders were very cheerful."
