"I’m really torn on this review. It could be much lower if I really think about it. This was my first visit in a VERY long time. Since the built this new location in fact. The new building has the feel of a brewery with the garage style doors that open to patio seating - that is right on a highly congested road. We sat at a table and the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. Say I’m silly, but I preferred the unpretentious former location with diner/cafeteria nostalgia vibes. I had to get the liver and onions. The price was right for the food I got. And then I got talked into dessert. I’m a good eater, but I could not handle the bread pudding - the vanilla sauce was a very lumpy gravy and i probably left more than 2/3 of it in the bowl it came in. By the time we’re done eating there wasn’t another table full in the place. I remember the old TeeJayes with the moon shape arrow sign being way busier. I know it’s January, and this menu isn’t exactly healthy eating. But why so few customers? I’m sad it doesn’t have the same feel as the former building. Is everyone feeling that? No? Just me? I need to go back sometime for a breakfast platter."

"I have been coming to the clintonville one since high school, when it was on Graceland. I was so glad that they stayed in this area. Food, service, and everything has always been amazing. It's one of my favorite local spots. If you haven't ate here u should. Make sure to get their gravy! Keep up the great work 👍 👏"

"My wife and I ate there in mid afternoon. She had cod, baked tater, and broccoli. I had the farmer's? salad. It had roasted butternut squash on it which I was looking forward too, because I love butternut squash. Service was good. The atmosphere was nice too with an old country feel to it. The counter seating was cool too. The food was not so great. The cod was ok. Probably a 3.5. The baked potato was disappointing. It looked like a day old potato that was reheated in the microwave. We rated it 1. The broccoli was good for a 4. A biscuit came with it. It tasted like raw flour to me, but my wife said it was ok so we'll go with her 3.0 rating . My salad was large. The chicken was warm and juicy. It had apples and craisins that were good. They gave a very generous amount of blue cheese dressing. But warning. I can eat about anything, but the roasted squash was so bad I picked off every chunk. The salad was good otherwise, so it was 4. Overall, we found the lunch ok, but not worth going back for. Maybe we should give it a try for breakfast as that menu looked interesting."

"Our family went there on Thanksgiving. The food was plentiful and generally good (some things were better than others). The biggest reason for this review is to highlight the service we had. Our server, Janie, was excellent! She was friendly, happy, and saw to every need. She concocted a 1/3 caffeine coffee mix for me which seemed above and beyond. Our 20-month grandson was treated like royalty and his plate was as heaping as the adults. Well done!"

"Not usually a breakfast person and food quality at Tee Jays varries my location and region. By far my favorite experience at any Tee Jays nationwide. Michele was absolutely amazing, really brightened my day. And the food was really good. Will be back to see Michele if nothing else. 10/10 highly recommend"
