"I've been wanting to come to this takeout restaurant for almost a year, but I lived in Columbia South Carolina; when I came in town I had to try this place. It is excellent!!!!The oxtail and rice or the oxtail and rice and peas. Amazing. I would definitely go back please be aware that it may be hard to find but they are literally in the building where you'll see 6888 right underneath that sign Try them out."

"Overall the food is really good. I got the pork chop meal with macaroni and yams as well as ordered the catfish meal with greens and macaroni. Food was seasoned really well. Just note this is carry out only and if it's busy the waiting area can get packed. We waited about 35 minutes so not too bad because it's only one person cooking, overall I was very pleased and will return."

"When I first walked in, the space felt quite cramped and crowded, with very limited seating available. However, the staff was warm and welcoming, and I appreciated their friendly service throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. The macaroni and cheese was generously cheesy, but lacked seasoning, leaving it rather bland. The chicken was also underwhelming it lacked flavor and didn’t have the seasoning I was hoping for. The candied yams were overly sweet for my taste, with a strong nutmeg flavor that felt a bit overpowering. The collard greens seemed to have a hint of sugar as well, which didn’t suit my palate, though others might enjoy that style. On a brighter note, the strawberry lemonade was absolutely fantastic. It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and easily the highlight of the meal.I’d give it a solid 10/10."

"Local Food Critic (Honest Opinion go to “Morgan’s”!). Ordered “Six Side Chicks Meal“ with double Mac and Cheese for the sides. Good portions sizes for the sides & medium size chicken Drums/Flats. No bread or cornbread. No drink comes with the meal. Extra Charge. The chicken was well seasoned and fried perfectly. Not too hard and the inside was tender. However the mac and cheese was extremely bland, barely baked and lacked seasoning. It’s as if it didn’t have seasoning at all and only used velveeta or a similar cheese. Not tasty. Overall 6/10. Not worth the $18 dollars + $10 for delivery. No drink or bread comes with an order."
