from Google"Absolutely loved the experience here! The atmosphere is awesome, especially with the stunning views from the rooftop. I ordered the steak, and it was incredible—I really appreciated the unique touch of spice that took the flavor to the next level. The presentation was great, too (loved the red glassware). Highly recommend for a great night out!"
"We were so excited to try this place and were unfortunately very disappointed. We had a reservation and had to wait 10 minutes for them to seat us when they weren’t busy. Ok fine. We sat down and the table next to us was in a heated altercation with the waitress demanding the manager, that should have been the first sign to leave. We ordered beers and a cheese pizza. It took 10+ minutes for our beers, ok fine. Finally after about 35 minutes, the waitress came out and asked if we’d ordered the margarita pizza (the same waitress we ordered the pizza with). We said yes. About 15 minutes later she came over and apologized saying she was flustered about the argument at the other table and forgot to put our order in. Again, ok fine. Finally the pizza came out and the crust was burned. We waited almost an hour for a burned cheese pizza. The burned pizza isn’t the waitress’ fault, but the whole experience was awful. The view was cool and our draft beers from Yellow Springs Brewery were great, but overall would not recommend."
"My friends and I visited The Foundry for Ladies' Night, and overall, we had a pleasant evening. The rooftop views are definitely a highlight, and the restaurant itself was very clean. We initially requested outdoor seating, but even with shade, it was just too hot without a fan or breeze. The staff was incredibly accommodating and happily moved us inside, which we appreciated. However, it was still quite warm indoors, and even the servers seemed to be feeling the heat. Our waitress was sweet and helpful, readily answering all our menu questions. We all ordered drinks – they were a strong pour! One friend ordered a frozen margarita that wasn't actually frozen, and it was a bit odd that they acknowledged this but still served it. We all agreed the drinks were a bit strong and lacked the fun flavor - but if you like a strong pour, you'll love it. She took it to be polite, but it definitely stood out. For food, I had the seared scallops, which were delicious, my only minor note is I wished there was a bit more sauce. My absolute favorite dish was the grilled watermelon cold plate with walnuts, strawberry, avocado, and feta – it was truly excellent! Overall, we agreed the food was decent per price point, and the service was great. If the temperature indoors had been more comfortable, the ambiance would have been even better. Despite the heat, we had a good time, and I'd consider returning, perhaps on a cooler evening."
"Great scenic lookout. The music was brilliant. Servers were attentive and interactive. Learned a lot about drinks. Tony was our bartender and he was amazing. Definitely be back."
"This was our first trip to the foundry. Its been on our bucket list. The food was absolutely flavorless and dry. My son had ordered the pork belly stir fry and the meat was as dry and tough as Jerky, he coughed on it several times!!! My daughter ordered the chicken ceasar salad and my husband and I both ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken in all 3 dishes was overcooked and tough and the breading was almost black. The breading tore up the roof of my mouth and the entire sandwich was flavorless. I would have been ashamed to send that black chicken out of the kitchen. What sauce that was on the sandwich contributed no flavor. Non of us ate our entire meal and declined boxes. There's no way we could eat such dried out tough meat a second time. My bill was over $150. I never eat McDonald's but wish I had. It would have tasted better, not tore up my mouth and been worth what I paid. I can't believe my coworkers recommended this place. Also forgot to mention, I believe the team manager was our waitress and I didn't even get the strawberry margarita I ordered. She brought me lime. They only have most of their beer in cans instead of on draft. I can get cans at home for way cheaper. By the time we needed to leave to catch the ballgame, I was beyond frustrated about the entire experience I couldn't even complain because I would have lost it. I paid and left. Will NEVER be back. Way too expensive for dog food quality. Maybe the pizza is good, not sure because we didn't order it. Good luck if you eat there. Chef Ramsey, here's your next challenge!"
