"My favorite little coffee shop. I just love that it’s close by but thankfully far enough I can’t go everyday. I’ve had most of the soups, the burrito and sausage gravy. Everything is always delicious. Countless coffees never disappointing. Excited for the new spot in Wellington."

"What an adorable place. The owner is super friendly. I had the Cake Bomb milkshake. If you are not a huge coffee flavor fan the white espresso that is in this drink is for you. Extremely subtle. I also got a strawberry cheesecake milkshake. The “milkshake” is more of a frappe consistency. Both of the drinks I purchased were delicious. This little local cafe serves freshly baked good, made to order custom drinks, and they are Eco-conscious. They also serve bubble tea, coffee , specialty drinks and more. The space is small but they did a great job creating seating for those who want to dine in. They serve some breakfast & lunch items, and have some great homemade soups. The restaurant is inside the Country Roads Mercantile shop. If you are ever driving though LaGrange, Ohio I highly recommend you make a special stop (dine in or carryout) into the Lucky Penny Cafe."

"First off, it is a tiny place. When they say small business, they're not lying. Extremely fresh food, ingredients. The Chilli is bland, needs salt, pepper, and spice, however it is packed with meat and cheese. The soup flight is a novel approach. Some of the soups are a hit or miss, but very good overall. The Chicken club is excellent. This restaurant has room to grow, but that's a good thing. Great and friendly service."

"I absolutely adore this place! The customer service is always amazing, the atmosphere is great, I love the extended hours, and the events they do with the food trucks. The drinks can be a little pricey, but support small businesses is totally worth it! The food is pretty good, as well as their Red Bull refreshers and lotus. Personally, their coffees are a hit or miss. Sometimes they’re good, but others they taste like milk with a hint of flavor or straight like syrup. I’ve tried a variety of their iced lattes, monthly specials, etc. and that seems to be my consensus. I only wish they were open on Sundays when I crave them the most lol Overall, I love this place!"
