"Such a neat place. Saw advertisement for this neat little place on facebook. Aways ready to try something new and saw there October special seasonal flight. Looked so good. Sometimes When I go to different coffee shops I have a hard time choosing what to get because they all look so good and not sure what would be better. The latte flight let's you try for different coffees. This day particular I had the 4 nine ounce samples of our Scary Berry Latte, Snickers Latte, Purple People Eater, and Pumpkin Donut Latte. All were so good. Purple people eater was what I was most excited to try but so glad I was able to try it this way. Was bummed that My that it was defently not for my taste buds. Not to say it might be for someone else . If you are a fan of extreme dark chocolate this is for you. But I still won for the other three were delicious and the food is amazing. Loved how the sandwiches were named after famous artist. Pretty neat. Prices are well worth it and the atmosphere was so neat. Will defently be making more trips here and ready to try more things. Let me not forget the customer service was right on too."

"Penny Lane is a unique hole-in-the-wall cafe just north of Dayton and, in my view, is a must-do if you’re in the area. The ambiance is so rich-chill boho meets art gallery vibes. It’s one of my favorite places to eat yummy and interesting sandwich takes, drink all the yummy seasonal coffee flavors and flights, meet with friends, sit and appreciate the art in this quaint little small town. It’s honestly the best."

"This was my 2nd visit to Pennylane and I am again in awe of the selections, the service and the peaceful atmosphere. The first time I came I popped in for lunch with a coworker and I just knew I had to come back. This time I brought family and it was a whole different menu from the coffee flight to the food and some how I was more deeply enthralled by the atmosphere and the flavors than before. We had such awesome encounters at that counters that after 3 hours of hanging out and trying a little bit of everything they had to offer from the Bananas Foster Bread to their B. E. L. T. (Customized for me with goat cheese) We got hugs from staff going off shift, because they were so wonderful at building rapport. The owner of the restaurant even came out and treated my family and I while serving us our 2nd round of treats and drinks and she remembered me from my first visit 4 months prior. And the art work makes it easy to sit and enjoy alone or use as conversation pieces with a group. I love Pennylane I hope they don't change."

"This is a cute spot to meet a friend to catch-up in downtown, nowhere Ohio. I loved my deviled egg sandwich but my partners tuna sandwich was just ok. The latte flight is raved about so that's what we took the trip to try. The flavors were fun but very syrupy and we didn't feel the usual caffeine hit we'd feel if we ordered a regular latte. I thought the place and menu were very thoughtfully curated and we will stop in again if we're in the area."

"I absolutely love this place! I usually try to stop by at least twice a week. They release a specialty menu every month with new, flavorful, and unique drinks and food, on top of their regular menu items. My favorite is the latte flights, which also change each month. The atmosphere is great and employees are super friendly. There is usually plenty of parking in the back. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in New Carlisle!"
