"If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The gluten free breakfast options and crafted coffee drinks are delicious but truly it’s the atmosphere and service that brings me back. The hospitality is warm and welcoming and not just for first time customers. I also love chatting books with my baristas. Truly look forward to spending mornings at Freight House. Back to the food and drinks. Whether you get black or a flavored latte you know it will be good because the base (coffee) is rich, smooth and what you want a good roasted bean to taste like. My go-to menu item is their gluten free bacon-egg and cheese bagel. Breakfast is my favorite meal and since having to adopt a gluten free diet it’s been so hard to find places that accommodate which is why I am so appreciative Freight House both offers gluten free options and makes it delicious. The cheese is extra melty, bacon thick and the egg tastes as if it were just made. The thinner gluten free bagel is also my favorite; brings balance to a breakfast sandwich. I appreciate their deliberate coffee selections and conscious efforts to include those with dietary restrictions with gluten free menu items, dairy free options, sugar free syrups, and some vegan treats on the menu. It’s the one place I know both my guest and I can enjoy breakfast, a good coffee and get lost in conversation."

"Freight House is a local treasure! Today I got a seasonal drink (Santa’s Cookies) and a peanut butter waffle and both were delicious. I find myself there often enough and whether I’m on my own or with family or friends, the place is always welcoming! They always have fun seasonal coffees, their chai and matcha are great, and they have a good menu if you’re looking for a quick bite. I particularly enjoy their patio space during the warmer months. My dog is also a great fan of their pup-cups!"

"I stopped by this coffee house back in the early spring and had a real mixed experience, all because of two very different staff members. One was fantastic, bright, happy, and everything you'd hope for. The other, a young woman, clearly did not want to be there. Her service was lackluster; when I asked if they had a particular item, I just got an exasperated "no" with no attempt to suggest an alternative. The whole interaction felt so awkward that it made enjoying my order difficult, which was a shame because the items I got were actually very good. It's a tough reminder that in a business built on service, attitude is everything. A bit of pride and presence can make all the difference. You have to leave personal problems at the door and never make a paying customer feel like they're an imposition. The point is to make people want to come back, not to make them feel unwelcome. I truly hope that particular worker is in a better place now. A small note for the team: it's always good practice to wash hands after touching your hair. My visit was saved entirely by the other, amazing employee. Here's hoping her positive energy becomes contagious. I will retry it soon and upload pictures for more traction. Hopefully there will be a different outcome."

"5 Stars - A Gem! Freight House Coffee in Oregon, Ohio, is an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating such a positive vibe for our visit. I had the peanut butter madness waffles, and they were nothing short of amazing. They were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and full of flavor. My husband was thoroughly impressed with his red-eye coffee, which says a lot! It’s clear that Freight House takes pride in both their food and their coffee. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed morning or a cozy coffee date!"

"The picture attached is exactly why I love going into or getting a drive-thru order at Freight House. Not only are the drinks refreshing, but everyone my husband and I have gotten an order from adds real heart and personality into what they’re doing. I love violet flavoring but when it’s added to drinks I feel that the flavoring becomes more muted, but when I ask to additional syrup; they do it in a fun way. I know I’ve been giggling about it since I got it, I find it so funny. It’s been 2 years since I started coming here and I truly have loved every visit and interaction from day one. Freight House isn’t simply one of the best places to go for great customer service and hospitality, but their drinks and almost whimsical brunch vibes are worth coming back for every time."
