What People Are Saying
from Google"Lake County, are you seeking a hybrid bakery experience? Blu Bee Cafe serves dessert and café options alongside traditional Middle-Eastern selections. Semi-established as a new, and upcoming location within the city of Painesville. Think, dessert and café options fused with MIddle-Eastern flare. Blu Bee Cafe contains Middle-Eastern roots, present in several aspects of its menu-list as well as bakery case. List-items reflect standard availability, with many (if not all) selections made in-house. In-house bakery, reflecting selections that rotate on a weekly/semi-weekly and holiday basis. Middle-Eastern aesthetics can be found amongst the above, with the in-house baker originating from Palestine. Creative selections, at a steep price point reflecting baker attention to detail."
"This is our second time coming here and everything is delectable. We’ve tried the Turkish coffee, pistachio latte, lotus latte, carrot cake, pistachio cheesecake, pumpkin caramel cheesecake, and caramel cheesecake. The flavors come through beautifully in both their drinks and desserts without the typical excessive sweetness. The assortment of desserts is incredible considering everything is homemade! This is easily my new favorite coffee shop in Lake County!"
"Blu Bee is all style and no substance. It was clearly designed to be aesthetic inside and I appreciate that, but... The whole cafe is very instagrammable. From the layered drinks, to the labubu-shaped mousse pastries, to the marble and neon lights everywhere. Unfortunately, for me that's where the positives end. I love Turkish coffee, and was ecstatic to see that was on the menu. But it was one of the worst coffees I've ever had. For a start, it was the wrong preparation - no Turkish coffee should be anywhere near 12 oz. It should be more like 2. Then the flavor: it tasted like burnt tap water with a hint of cardamom essential oil. Absolutely undrinkable, and I'll usually happily drink poor quality coffee. The pastries look absolutely amazing, but the one we tried (mousse cake) was sickeningly sweet, full of fake fruit flavor with no balance at all. Maybe it's my fault - clearly, they specialize in sweet lattes, maybe I shouldn't have ordered something against type. But if it's on the menu... It should at least be passable, right? The service was unhelpful; the baristas didn't seem to care or have strong opinions on the product. I also made a point to ask for my coffee in mug for-here rather than to-go, which was acknowledged but then ignored. Finally, the price is rather high for what you get. For 3 coffees and one cake, it was $30 before tip. Clearly a lot of people like this place, but their priorities are not in line with my own. But if you want a pretty latte you can post a picture of, this is worth a shot."
"Great coffee shop concept, Middle East vibe in a very cozy environment. Amazing arabica bean quality coffee and a big variety of hot and cold options and the best pastries and sweets options in the area. They opened only a few weeks ago and and they still got a lot ways to improve, I wish them all the best."
"This Cafe is exactly what we need in this area! The employees were super friendly and everything I got was fresh and yummy! The only café locally where I can get an authentic Turkish coffee! Prices were reasonable. Cafe was cozy."
