What People Are Saying
from Google"What a great place, I had the chicken salad sandwich and almond crescen and they were both spectacular! The owners were so friendly and it was spotless. A must try."
"The bees knees! If you’re hungry, get one of these… The breakfast croissant with bacon or focaccia… you’ll be sure to be pleased! Haha! Seriously though… such a great place for breakfast. The coffee’s are great too."
"Glad I stumbled upon this place! Great menu, good prices and they had an amazing selection of products, everything from teas to tins of baklava to hot sauce sample packs. My litmus test for any deli is a Reuben and this place didn't disappoint. It was stacked with corned beef and the balance of dressing and sauerkraut was perfect. The portion was so big I ended up eating half for lunch and the other half for dinner. The staff was friendly and fast. I will definitely be back!"
"This is seriously a gem of a café, food is delicious and prepared perfectly, coffee great I drink it ice so haven't tried hot but if it follows trends probably as good as everything else. The desserts are heavenly. Honest this is a must stop for anyone and everyone and a new family favorite."
"Stopped in this small cafe for lunch yesterday while running errands with my mom and aunt - neither of whom had tried Ethiopian/Eritrean food before. I live in DC, where we have great Ethiopian food, and I was really impressed with what we got at Asmarina! The veggie combo and the beef tibs bowl were both delicious and the portion sizes were very large. We also tried a lentil sambusa, which was freshly fried and one of the best I have had. Food is made to order, and they also have a variety of American-style and deli food for those looking for a more traditional breakfast or lunch. Service was very friendly, and it was great to support a family-run place. I would highly recommend Asmarina and am looking forward to returning!"
