What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"There are a lot of photos, so I'm only post the ones that might give new info. I went around 4:30 and stayed till around 6 getting work done on my laptop. The weather was arguably nice, so they had the garage doors open. Most people would love this, however I over heat very easy, so I may have chosen a different location if I knew. Not a bad thing, just something for people to be aware of. They have a decent variety of tables, chairs, couches, and bars for people to set up at, and it was easy to find outlets all over the place. When I went I did set up in an armchair for a while till a spot opened at the bar that was shaded. Definitely a good stud spot. When it came to the menu, they didn't have a lot of gluten free options, but the one they did have was a nice breakfast bowl with a vegetarian option. Looked good, but I didn't try it this time. I got a frozen Grogg. I was a little confused as so weather it had hazelnut in it or not, but definitely had caramel and chocolate drizzle on the outside. It wasn't bad and I would definitely drink another, but the flavor wasn't as strong/complex as I would like. Still, there are so many other things on the menu I need to try. They have dog bowls sitting in their window for use as well. Good to know if you want your dogs with you on their outside seating area. Lastly, they have gender neutral, handicap accessable bathrooms! The wallpaper in the one I went to was cute. I will be returning to try more things, definitely worth a visit!"
"Although pricy, this is a very nice coffee shop with delicious coffee drinks of all kinds, smoothies, pastries and cigars… yes cigars… but there is NO SMOKING in this cafe (or I wouldn’t be rating it so highly. Note: it takes a second to figure out how to get into their parking lot, but it’s worth the effort."
"I recently visited Boston Stoker Coffee Co in Shawnee Hills and was impressed by their unique coffee and cigar offerings. The coffee has a distinct taste that sets it apart from other shops in the area, making it a must-try for any coffee aficionado. However, I did find the price to be a bit expensive for the smaller than expected size of the coffee. Additionally, the service was slow due to the fact that the shop is new and the staff seem to still be learning the ropes. Despite these minor setbacks, I would still highly recommend Boston Stoker Coffee Co for anyone looking for a unique coffee experience."
"We live in the community and have given this coffee shop two tries, but unfortunately both experiences have been disappointing. Both times, they’ve been out of vanilla syrup, so we couldn’t order a vanilla latte. Today, we ordered two coffees and were only handed one by an older woman. After waiting, she asked if she could help us, and we had to remind her about the second drink. The prices are higher than Starbucks, and since vanilla was unavailable again, we ordered caramel instead. Unfortunately, the bottom of the drink was undrinkable and we had to toss it. On top of that, both coffees weren’t very hot. We really wanted to love this place since it’s local, but the consistency and quality just haven’t been there."
"Passing thru this area and needed caffeine. Love the chill atmosphere and spacious lounge area, great spot to relax and hangout with friends I got the matcha latte, which is very out of character for me as I almost never order it, tasted decent tho"
