What People Are Saying
from Google"Confessional Coffee & Pastry is a minimalist coffee shop with a strong, consistent theme—and it’s done right. The space has an old-church aesthetic interpreted in a modern, thoughtful way. I loved the attention to detail, especially the separate, partially blocked-off seating areas that create a sense of privacy while still feeling open. The barista was patient, knowledgeable, and great at giving recommendations, answering all of our questions without rushing us. One thing I really appreciated is that they make their syrups in-house. I tend to avoid drinks made with store-bought syrups, so this was a big plus. I ordered The Holy Trinity, which was excellent—especially if you enjoy bold, full flavors. I highly recommend trying that one and warm. We also tried the Blueberry Latte after it was recommended. It wasn’t quite my personal preference, but it was still good and would be a solid choice if you enjoy fruity lattes. The shop is spacious, with plenty of room between tables, making it a great place to work, read, or meet up with people without feeling crowded. The pastries looked unique and delicious, though I didn’t have the appetite to try them this time. We spent about $15 on two drinks, which feels typical for coffee shops these days. Overall, a thoughtfully designed space with quality drinks and a great atmosphere."
"I love coming here to relax and get some caffiene before work! The staff is the best, I love the atmosphere, and the pastries and coffee are visually appealing and delicious! I can't get enough of the iced blueberry latte, the espresso here is so tasty. Today I tried the mixed berry muffin and it was so good! Thank you for another lovely experience!"
"There is ample parking. There is lots of space between tables. The coffees are reasonably priced and are made fresh by several baristas. They also have s selection of baked goods. The staff is cordial and well trained. There is free Wi-Fi."
"This place was nice. The prices were a little high I’d say. It’s an intriguing place. Staff were friendly, service extremely fast, my coffee wasn’t the greatest in the world (but that’s just a personal opinion). CLEANEST PUBLIC BATHROOM IVE EVER BEEN IN. 10/10 for the bathroom. If the bathroom wasn’t so nice it would’ve gotten 3/5 stars. It was hard to find the building. I recommend a bit more signage."
"Such a beautiful coffee shop and fun trendy experience. I really appreciate the attention to the Catholic theme; The logo, wall decor, confessional "booths", cup and plate choices, Togo cup sleeves, and even the Wi-Fi password are well thought-out and add to the experience. A true creative owns and loves this place. I also really appreciate that they too support local businesses through their use of Akron Honey and Ohio Tea Co products. I really enjoyed my drinks. Service is friendly and the pastries are amazing. HIGHLY recommend the raspberry morning bun!! This is also a great place to work, they have free wifi, there's plenty of tables, and ample plugs for laptops."
