"Great selection of coffee! They have many different available to take home as well. Casual seating area available. Not really anything gluten free as an option for food, and you have to walk up steps to go inside so not handicap accessible. Cute place to check out though. Off street parking so you may have to walk from down the street to get there."

"Wow! What a phenomenal place! Egg + avocado + arugula + pesto + goat cheese on a bialy = CHEFS KISS! Nate was super friendly & helped me decide what to get. I devoured my sandwich so fast I don’t take a picture. But, the coffee was also delicious!"

"Such a charming fun lil spot in the heart of beautiful downtown Vermilion. Had a lovely time here enjoying amazing food, coffee & company in such a quaint setting. Thoroughly enjoyed my tasty breakfast bagel sandwich and a delicious specialty coffee, Cinnabon Macchiato, in the lovely cafe. Fantastic and super friendly service too!!! My son also thought the breakfast bagel and vanilla latte were great❤️ I think I found a new fav spot ❤️ So great, then enjoy a walk through the beautiful town and a block north to beach. On a return visit I was absolutely stunned by their avocado, pesto, egg, Swiss bagel- wow! They actually have the most delicious breakfast bagels I have ever tasted. Each item we tried has been incredibly delicious! My son also enjoyed the French toast egg and sausage bagel sandwich on our next visit. I loved the drip coffee I had today - Frosty ☃️ …. And for another return visit … tried the Brewed Awakening’s Latte- AMAZING!"

"As with every visit to either Brewed Awakening location, the coffee was excellent. Ordered a seasonal salted pumpkin latte this visit. It was prepared perfectly, not overly sweet, just right. All of the staff I interacted with were very friendly and full of smiles. This place is always busy but they get the orders made in a timely manner and there is plenty of seating and things to look at while you wait. Prices are fair, on par for similar places and generally cheaper than the big chains. Good value and it is always nice to support a local business. Definitely a great place to stop while you are in Vermillion (or Lorain) for a coffee or tea, and they also have some light fare, bagels, etc."

"Looks like a great place with great reviews… And I’m one that will always try to write positive things… in that regard my wife had one of the iced coffees and it tasted great… Actually phenomenal… The person taking our order was very pleasant and friendly… The not so good, the young lady that made my wife’s iced coffee was not paying attention to our order… this became a very slow waiting process and it was a little annoying since there was no one in line in front of us… also she frankly not pleasant when she passed the coffee off… We’ll still give them another chance"
