from Google & Yelp"I went to Joey’s Café for brunch and it was an absolutely delightful experience from beginning to end. I ordered their French Toast—French bread dipped in a Frangelico batter, pan-seared, and served with fresh fruit—and it was amazing. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I also had a side of poached eggs and potatoes, and both were so delicious and satisfying. My husband tried the Eggs CrabLouie, and it was truly to die for. The dish came with beautifully poached eggs topped with hollandaise, all set over their popular crab cake on a muffin. The crab was incredibly succulent, fresh, and full of flavor—one of the best we’ve had! The service was excellent, fast, and very friendly. Everything came out quickly, and the staff made the experience even better with their attentiveness. Joey’s Café has definitely won us over. The food, the flavors, the service—it all felt too good to be true! We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!"
"The parking lot is always so full of cars so I’ve often randomly thought of popping in to check this place out. Stopped in today for the first time and there were only two other customers (same table). It seemed like there was one cook, two waitresses, and other than that - I don’t know where all the car owners might be. We ordered the chef’s daily special (which is on the menu, lol) chicken fried steak with vegetable beef soup and the Reuben sandwich with fries. Disappointing $35 spent. Tasted like hospital food at best. The salt I put on the fries still wasn’t enough help and every food ordered seemed as if it was not prepped there. Perhaps pre-packaged/frozen? I asked the waitress if the pot roast is made each day and her answer? “Honestly, I’m not sure.” Two stars for a clean restaurant and one star for taste."
"Upon entering, we were immediately greeted. Our server was nice and tentive throughout our service. I got the heap omelette. It was good. Lots of feeling. The potatoes had flavor to them and we're also good. I got the biscuit and gravy on the side. That's definitely a hard pass. Not homemade. Omelette was good, pancakes were fluffy. Good place for basic breakfast."
"I ordered the Friday special, which was Chicken Fried Steak. Everything on the plate was pre-packaged or frozen food. The chicken fried steak was mushy, the potatoes from a box lacked any seasoning and the vegetables tasted like the ones that you pop in the microwave and steam. I sent the meal back and just ate the salad that came with the meal. (The salad was fine.) The server was very friendly. I'd stay away from anything that isn't pancakes or eggs."
"My friends and I have been going to Joey‘s for many years. We recommend Joey’s whenever the opportunity arises. The food is delicious, but the service is exceptional! HB, Patricia, Terrance, Mabel, Trisha are like family to all of us. A dining experience is not just for the food but for the whole package and that means developing a relationship with the staff. You don’t get that opportunity much anymore these days so when you are blessed With that type of service, it is very special and it is what keeps the customers coming back. More and more these days, we need relationships like that which we get at Joey‘s! I hope and pray that the owners and managers realize how important this is to their customer base. I hope they treat Their staff with utmost respect and encouragement to promote this atmosphere . As a previous business owner, I know how extremely important this is to the customers and I Hope that the management at Joey’s does too. So if you are looking not only for delicious food, but an atmosphere and experience that promotes friendship and family, Joey is the place to go!"
""Meh" describes Joey's pretty well. I'm a hard pass on returning to this place. We went for brunch. They seated 4 of us at a table for 8 even though..."
