from Google"This place was A-MAZ-ING!!!!😍😍😍 This was my first time coming, and I must say, at first I was skeptical, since I’m not a big fan of tea shops. HOWEVER, Teaoli changed my perspective COMPLETELY. I would suggest their Hot Chocolate and their Ultimate Grilled Cheese (see photos). The vibe of the store is nice and calming, and the servers are soooooooooooooooooooooo sweet and polite 😊 The smell of the main store is quite nice. I would suggest this store to any and all Edmond newcomers!"
"Such a great selection and Tami was so knowledgeable and helpful. We are new to loose leaf teas and she helped us find the right teas. Definitely going back to try her food as it looked delicious."
"We are visiting from Nebraska and staying at the Two Hearts Bed and Breakfast in the back of this shop. Oh my!, I was not prepared for this store. There is so much to offer! Left with several bottles of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and tea. Can’t wait to try! Staff was extremely helpful and you can sample before you buy! This place is a gem!"
"I realize that people from Oklahoma have usually never been out of the state before, but treating people that look different rudely in this day and age is absurd. I have 2 bio kids and 2 chosen. My chosen daughter is part Asian. She was so excited to visit the shop today July 12 after hearing so many good things from her boss. Her experience, however, was marred by the rudest woman working there. My daughter watched after seeing the employee ask and help and assist everyone there with kindness and a smile on her face but after my daughter asked one question about testing teas the woman looked her up and down and with a snarl and a look down her nose, she said no. there was no redirection, no helpful hints no kindness generated at all towards my daughter. Shameful, shameful behavior and I must say that I would have caused a scene if I had been there with her. No ma'am that is not okay"
"POC Beware! I am a tea lover and was recommended to go to Teaoli as they have a wide selection of specialty loose leaf teas. I went in on 7/12/25, the shop and restaurant was bustling with people young and old. They do in fact have a wide selection of tea and I was told by two older white patrons, they were in the store at the same time as me, that you can ask to sample whichever tea you are interested in. When I politely asked the elder worker, who seemed to be manning the oil and tea section, if I would be able to sample some teas, she rudely barked “No! We offer over a 100 teas and you cannot sample them all.”. I was taken aback by her attitude and her response as I didn’t ask to sample every tea. Once I told her that I was specifically interested in the green teas, she huffed and pointed out that they had one hot green tea (a Pear tea) that was available to try and a cold tea I could also try (I believe a peach tea). Notice how she didn’t try to give me the time of day until I indicated that I was a paying customer. When I told her that I would be interested in trying them, she lead me over to the pear tea and curtly told me to try it and then gestured in the direction of the cold tea and promptly walked off. This entire interaction was very off-putting as I had been nothing but kind and had been met with attitude and dismissal. This older white women couldn’t get away from me fast enough, and when I looked around I realized why. I am a young Asian woman in a shop full of white people. There were no other POC to be seen. I watched this rude worker for a bit to see if maybe she was having a bad day, but no, she was kind and friendly to the other white customers. She asked them if they needed help and about their weekend plans. I do not live my everyday thinking that I’m going to be treated differently because I am Asian. I do not treat people differently because of their appearance. I had worked in customer service for over 5 years, and it is not hard to be kind and respectful to people. I believe that worker displayed disgusting behavior and I caution any POC who decide to shop at this store. While the younger staff was kind (also all white, unless they’re hiding POC staff in the back), the older woman who oversaw the oils and teas is rude and disrespectful. The blatant racism is honestly shocking for an establishment that started from a place of “gathering faith, family, and friends”. Behavior like this is unbecoming, and I will not be coming back."
