"The food was very good. I had the flatbread pizza. I ordered it crispy, and even though it wasn't quite crispy enough for my taste, it was still very good. Everyone else also commented their food was very good. The service, though, did not meet the same level. We waited a long time before she ever took our order, a king time before getting our drinks and another stretch before getting our food. And the kicker... they weren't busy when we first sat down. We sat on the patio. It was nice, though they could trim the trees a bit so they didn't blow in your face while sitting."

My friend Lisa couldn't stop raving about her Bloody Mary, declaring it the best she's ever had in her life—high praise, indeed! The cocktails were expertly crafted, really setting the tone for a great meal. We also shared an appetizer of calamari, which was perfectly prepared—crispy, tender, and full of flavor. It was the ideal start to our meal. For the main course, Lisa went with a cauliflower crust cheese pizza, and I opted for the backyard BBQ pizza on a hand-tossed crust. However, if you're considering the BBQ pizza, I must warn you—do not get the corn topping! It really overpowers the delicate flavors of the pizza, and the BBQ sauce was a bit too runny, unfortunately detracting from the overall taste. It's definitely something I'd skip next time. The vibe of Blu is cozy and relaxed—it's got a nice, casual energy that's perfect for a laid-back lunch. Since it was a bit too chilly to sit outside on the patio, we decided to settle in at the bar, which was a great choice. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. All in all, Blu is a great spot for a casual meal with good drinks, delicious calamari, and a laid-back atmosphere. Just be cautious with your pizza toppings, and you're in for a treat!"
