"I tried the fried green tomato and my boyfriend tried the whirligig! Both were so so good! The sandwiches here are HUGE— like diabolically ginormous! The fried green tomato was so freaking amazing, but I’d be careful if you’re impatient like me because you will scald your mouth with the hot tomato if you take a bite prematurely, haha! The whirligig was also super tasty! The chicken was fried super super well— nice and crunchy! Also got their loaded fries and those are always great too! If you’re only small to medium hungry, I’d stick with just sandwiches because (again) they’re huge, but if you have a crowd or are big hungry then I’d definitely get the fries too! The staff are always super fun and friendly! We usually sit at the tables, but conversations are lively and fun at the bar!"

"Good place. Feels very casual like eating lunch at a friend’s house. Like bobs burgers if bob and Linda started a restaurant before kids. Smashie was good, fried pickles were a tad rushed, a couple had stuck together and been undercooked. Needed salt maybe a touch of cayenne."

Super crispy chicken with finely shredded lettuce & pickle with hot honey on a toasted soft bun! Pro-tip,add an egg! Crispy curly fries & a nicely seasoned really fresh pasta salad completed the meal! Definitely be back!"
