from Google & Yelp"We ordered two hot lattes night before last & we were the last car through the drive thru before they closed. We got our drinks and they were as cold as if they had been made for an iced coffee without ice in it. We reversed back to the window, told them & they were very sweet to offer to fix it. Got the new obes & they were warmer but still not hot. It was okay but sadly my husband's tasted like soap or some kind of cleaner on the lid? Then we remembered they were cleaning up because it was closing time. Unfortunately, as soon as they handed us our drinks and we said bye, the lights went out. So we couldn't go back to ask for a refund or anything like that. We paid cash for 2 drinks & the tip, twelve bucks & had to end up running elsewhere to get coffee for our 2 hr drive home in the dark. Tried to message them on fb but it would not let me for some reason."
"We found out the hard way that the lids at the 96th St N location did not fit the cups. As I brought two iced drinks with cold foam in the car, both lids popped off. Cold foam and coffee went all over me, the seat, the console/electrical components area, the car door, etc. The girl working the window gave us napkins and said she was sorry. She took the drinks back, refilled the cold foam, and put additional lids on the cups. That was it. No refund for the $18+ in drinks, or voucher for a free drink or anything. Now the car needs detailing to get this mess out of all the nooks and crannies and the seat. It'll probably be a $200 cost to do that. While I do not expect Evergreen to pay for detailing, s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g would have been appreciated besides "sorry". I did email Evergreen a week ago to let management or the owner know what had happened, but I got zero response. Very disappointed as we used to frequent Evergreen heavily. Eight bucks for a cup of coffee is overpriced to begin with. Add a situation like this, and Evergreen becomes completely unaffordable. I'm honestly shocked at the lack of response. While I did not have time to take pictures of the mess that was made in the car because I was busy cleaning it up in the drive-thru, I did get a picture of the mess down the black driver's side door."
"This review is edited over the last 3 years and has gone from a 5 star review to this 1 star review I give 5 star reviews and make sure to review places for the good and do not get on Google to just bash a company especially a small business. DO NOT GO HERE! Employees and customers get burnt from lids being the wrong size and owner does nothing about it It has been over a month since I contacted the owner in regards to lids not fitting the cups on the hot and cold drink cups. This would be my 2nd time reaching out about this issue after it was not resolved months ago after the owner assured it would be fixed. This is a common occurrence for us as loyal customers. The employee hands us the drink-The lid breaks off and it spills-hot and cold drinks-(All over the employees poor hands, our hands and our mirror on our vehicle-They offer to fix it and it can never be fixed because it’s the product-The employee (Usually the same girl everytime) was extremely sweet with every occurrence. (I feel really bad that they are so apologetic when it is not their fault and I made sure to tell them that as I myself have worked at a coffee shop as well) We drive off and go to pick up our drink and the lid comes off again-burns my spouses hand, and lap. We always always tip as well and are aware it is NOT your poor employees fault. Imagine how many times a day she hands that drink out the window and it does that to her and I really hope most customers are like me and my spouse and are kind about it. WHY are your lids not working for your cups? Why do your hot cups fall apart around the rim? This has literally been every visit for months now. We tried to give it a few tries but we are moving onto another coffee shop after today. Also, please fix your reward program as well. We were customers for a few years and it took a lot in me to write this review and move onto another shop."
