What People Are Saying
from Google"Had an amazing dinner at Biga here in Tulsa. The lobster ravioli was seriously next level — super fresh, rich, and full of flavor. Also want to shout out Chloe and Abby for being so friendly and attentive the entire night. They made the experience even better. If you’re looking for true 5-star Italian in Tulsa, this is the spot. Highly recommend."
"The atmosphere was great. There's a fireplace. The food and service were adequate but if I'm spending $50+ per person I expect to be impressed. The red sauce on my lasagna tasted like it came out of a jar of plain tomato sauce. The tiramisu was pretty good."
"I want to yell at Google, for hiding this gem from our searches for "Italian near me" for.. well.. like 15 years. We stumbled across Biga by chance tonight, and upon arrival found a lovely place with warm and friendly people. We ordered off the prix fixe menu: I got the chicken parm with a starter salad. He got the meatballs (made with veal and pork) along with a sausage and ricotta lasagna. The lobster ravioli was too tempting to ignore so we got that as an extra. As a New Englander, I have to say that was the best preparation of lobster I've ever eaten. Our normal banter was replaced by happy moans of gastronomical pleasure. The food was **truly** authentic and delicious. My husband spent years in Italy as a young GI, and he had actual tears in his eyes as he sopped up exquisite sauces, and savored perfectly prepared meats that melted in the mouth. It had always been our plan for him to take me to Europe - Italy especially - but age and infirmity have made those plans a pipe dream. He turned to me and said that he'd always felt he disappointed me, by never getting to share the food he fell so in love with, but here -- here in Tulsa, he was finding those same flavors and same memorable love and attention to every detail. Dessert was cheesecake and something called a chocolate cloud - both were absolute A+. We just found our new favorite restaurant, and will absolutely be back."
"We have found a new favorite! It is what going out to a restaurant used to be when we were younger. It is a slower pace, fresh-made delicious food. Definitely make a reservation to be sure that you get a table. Remember the days when you would go out and the restaurant food was better than homemade? It is not fast food, but it is worth the wait. It is perfect to be able to sit and enjoy a nice conversation while your meal is being prepared. The wait staff knows how each dish is prepared and can make the perfect recommendation for your taste of food. We will definitely be back and were so happy to find this place! Hope that you give them a try and enjoy the opportunity to relax, enjoy the experience, and the fantastic food!"
"Well for the type of restaurant it is, I'm sure it is great. We were the only 40 year olds in the building other than one little girl who was serving tables. This was like walking into a 50+ country club, and everyone stared at us like "why are you kids here, get off our lawn!" The menu was 2 sided and one side was all wine, $12 a glass I might add! The meals were $30 per person for 3 courses. And there was a lot of veal and beet dishes. In not sure who actually eats that stuff, but it's not me...we did find chicken parm and stuffed mushrooms on the menu but they needed salt really badly and there was none on the table. Their fresh baked bread was good, and that is probably the best water I've ever drank from a restaurant lol we had dessert of chocolate pie and tiramisu and that was probably the best part of the whole experience! If you're a 50+ and looking for a bougie country club atmosphere, you've come to the right place! We won't be back for at least 10 years!"
