What People Are Saying
from Google"From the pork belly scallops, wagyu burger, chimichurri lamb and cheesecake. Every bite was delicious! Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere/vibe of the restaurant was very pleasant. We most definitely would recommend this restaurant to all and can’t wait to dine here again. Thank you Juniper for a lovely experience!"
"The food was delicious. I had a wonderful experience this evening! My server Cinder (not sure how to spell her name correctly) was amazing, very informative and knowledgeable. Service was prompt and well timed. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared. Tables around me were happy with their meals and had attentive servers like mine as well. This establishment will now be my absolute favorite place for Brussel sprouts. Beating out McGills on 19 and Bird & Bottle IMO. The Goat cheese and toast app was well paired. Hunter the beautiful manager stopped by my table for a chat which just completely topped off the night. She was sweet and cared and made me feel seen and heard. I will 100% be coming back. The menu has so many wonderful items to choose from."
"Was in town for business, came here on a whim with my coworkers and we all were pleasantly surprised. The food looks and feels fresh, the meals are robust and delicious. All four of us were looking for reasons to stick around and try more food. We then settled on just coming back again another night. The service was excellent and welcoming, could not recommend this place any more"
"We tried Juniper last night and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The crabcakes came out fast, but our drinks took a while — we actually got the appetizer before the cocktails, which was surprising since it wasn’t very busy, I think they may have been short staffed. The bread with cherry ginger butter was good, and when the drinks finally came they were delicious. For mains, the beef stroganoff (usually my favorite) was a little disappointing this time, still tasty but the noodles were almost cold, the steak itself was hot and fresh off the grill but it felt like the pasta had been sitting too long before plating. The salmon was fine but didn’t quite have the flavor you’d expect for the price."
"After many years of enjoying consistently excellent meals at Juniper in the Vail Valley, our most recent visit fell short of expectations. The restaurant was offering a 50% off entrées special, which understandably drew a large crowd. However, the volume of guests appeared to overwhelm the staff and space. We had a reservation for 6:15 and arrived just a few minutes late, but there was already confusion regarding our seating. We were eventually placed at a four-top, but the tables were so tightly packed that it made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. Even the patrons seated behind us expressed visible discomfort. To their credit, the waitstaff did their best to manage the situation and accommodate everyone. As always, the food quality remained excellent—Juniper never disappoints in that regard. That said, the portions seemed noticeably smaller, while prices have continued to climb. Will we return? Absolutely—Juniper remains a favorite. But next time, we’ll avoid visiting during high-volume specials, as they clearly impact the overall experience."
