from Google"I decided to try The Avery in Tulsa on New Year’s Day, mainly because most restaurants in downtown Tulsa were closed. I'm so glad I did! From start to finish, it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. First off, the service was exceptional. Our bartender/server, Stevie, absolutely made the evening. She had such a positive, upbeat attitude that created the perfect atmosphere for a laid-back but still special dining experience. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she really made us feel welcome. Honestly, I think Stevie deserves a promotion—her energy and attention to detail were top-notch. As for the food, I was originally eyeing the pork chop, but unfortunately, they were out of pork that day. No worries though, I decided to go with the frenched chicken, and it was incredible. The flavor was so rich and tender—it honestly might have been one of the best culinary experiences I've had in a while. Each bite was just perfect. To top it off, I finished my meal with a cobbler for dessert, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best cobbler I’ve ever had in my life. The balance of sweet and warm, with just the right amount of crunch on top—it was the perfect way to end a meal. All in all, The Avery turned out to be a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a memorable experience."
"We had a wonderful meal! Our server was helpful and very professional. We had the carbonara and a chicken with Marsala mushroom sauce. They were both delicious. It was not a traditional carbonara but also very delicious. I am sad they no longer have the pot pie."
"Went here for dinner & had their September burger special. The burger was delicious, the fries & onion rings were good & I had a cocktail. UPDATE: Went back on 9/28/25 Had the 918 burger special again. Everything was really good."
"Not sure why this place only has a 4-star average. I was seated promptly, the server got me setup quickly and was attentive. I ordered the double bone pork chops, and it was delicious! The atmosphere was pleasant too. Update: Been going here for weeks now due to travel for my job. The bartenders are great. Still rate this 5 stars."
"We did it all. Drunks the first night. Their Old Fashion is top notch. Breakfast the next morning had substantial portions, and all of the food was cooked perfectly. Dinner the following night with a family of 4 was really good. The best part of the entire experience was the service. The manager checked on us multiple times, and offered some advice on places to visit during our stay. He was also very knowledgeable of the history of the downtown area. The entire waitstaff was very professional, and worked well together to make sure all tables were serviced efficiently."
