"Oops - I came to find coffee and discovered a treasure trove! The moment I opened the door, it was like walking into a community, not just a cafe. All the patrons looked happy and were conversing or working at the many tables, and I was immediately drawn to the cute little setup with stickers, games, puzzles, and notebooks. Every aspect of this place is cozy and cute. Then came the food! When I managed to pull myself away carrying half the store with me, I took a glance at the menu. Gluten free options are a big deal to me, and the gluten free bread they used for my hashy stayed together beautifully. The bacon was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I tried the Mr. Tanuki latte, and it was the perfect amount of sweet, and the flavors were perfect. It was all prepared in a reasonable amount of time, and with top notch service to boot. I'll definitely be returning every time I'm in this area of town."

"To me, best coffee in Portland. I just stopped after lunch nearby . As usual, I did not high hope and ready for cup of disappointment . ( reason for being home barista) but, their coffee menu’s gave feel and high hope. Milk drink, drip & even pour over!! There was some pause before served, but I had very rare with pleasant coffee experience. As coffee nerd, I can see that the barista knows and understands exact extraction time and dosing amount, coffee bean choices , so no bitterness like other chains. Their served cup and saucer also best gear for keep the coffee well. (Also, very well known & loved by barista and coffee nerds. ) I feel the barista’s passion and perfection for the one cup of best coffee. To me , I had it was perfect balanced Flat White without disappointment. In the future, I will try the pour over menu with high hope."

"I cant believe it's taken me so long to write a review. Great spot since it opened. Their breakfast sandwich game is quietly the best on the Westside. My family and I all have our go tos, mine is a Griffith Street with Turkey bacon on sourdough, my wife is an awkward aardvark, one daughter loves the hashy and the last daughter is a Tab gal. Great staff and ambiance."
