"Nice and lowkey place with great people! First time here and the gentleman kindly recommended the mocha latte which was really good! He asked if I could turn off my engine but he was so chill about it that I didn’t mind at all. Average wait for my drink and also got a chance to chat with a kind lady that worked there as well. Overall good experience and looking forward to coming back because they got a lot of good options for food and drinks!"

"I’d like to leave a calm, honest, and genuine review of this place. I hope that the lady who tends to respond to reviews will not perceive this as an attack. I am a real customer with my own opinions and experiences. I have come here 4 times. Two of those times, I received great drinks and had good experiences. The other two times they were closed (including today, a Saturday at 10am). Good things: they make good drinks. From what I can remember, prices were fair and I think they used quality ingredients that set them apart from other places. Lots of organic options. I had pleasant conversations with the lady and with the gentleman who is usually at the window. Other reviews have mentioned his unusual demeanor, and they are correct. However, I still found him pleasant to interact with; I was actually more intrigued than anything else. They clearly put a lot of thought and care into their kiosk, the area and surroundings. It is lovely and memorable, in a good way. They also have a surprisingly large variety of options that I haven’t found at any other kiosk, anywhere, ever! I hope to try their food someday. Less good things: My main issue is them not being open the last 2 times I tried to go there. I will give them one more chance at some point. However, I do want to validate everyone who complained about long wait times. I understand that quality drinks (or quality anything) can take longer. I’m fine with this, but it was certainly an unpleasant surprise the first time, since the average coffee kiosk will usually have it done in less than 2 minutes. Knowing this about them, I decided this morning that I had the extra time to spare to wait for an awesome drink. I think of this place as a luxury, certainly not as a part of a daily commute ritual. People are in a hurry in the morning, and this place just doesn’t seem equipped for that vibe, as it currently is. I think they would be better suited for a normal, sit down kind of coffee shop. Related to the long wait times, I’m concerned about their roundabout. They can accommodate a lot of people in a line, but there isn’t a way to leave the line if a customer is running late for something and didn’t know how long this place tends to take. I assume the owners don’t want them cutting through their grass, so maybe a small parking lot would be a better idea? I’d also like to say, please don’t attack the customers who are leaving their feedback. I know you guys are better people than that, and it reflects poorly on you and your business. Please reflect on what people say with an open mind. I will be back one more time and I hope to catch you guys while you’re open. :)"

"We’ve been trying to find a coffee spot that makes a good mocha and this spot is by far the best we’ve had here! Apparently the chocolate is from Italy and I believe it because the coffee was amazing! We got a black and white iced mocha. Needless to say, this will now be our go to spot for a good mocha!"

"I love Romano's Espresso, the coffees are great! I bought a cup of coffee from a place in South Eugene this morning & had to dump it out. I drove all the way across town to Romano's and got a delicious cup of black coffee. Highly recommended!"
