from Google"Great selection of drinks and friendly staff. They have an emphasis on matcha and bubble teas but also serve lattes and americanos. It has a chill, modern coffee shop vibes with some outdoor seating available. They are also open on Mondays while most of the other Forest Grove coffee shops and restaurants are closed. Definitely check this place out of you want to support a locally owned Forest Grove business!"
"I live about 3 hrs away but have family in the area. When visiting I was happy to see that this cafe had opened. I’ve been wanting to try an einspanner latte but the cafes around me only do coffee einspanner and I only drink tea, so I was excited to see the einspanner matcha on the menu. I tried that, the hojicha latte (hot), a mini pain au chocolat, and strawberry overnight oats. Everything was amazing! The drinks are rich, complex and flavorful without being overpowered by sugar, the oats were delicious, filling, just the right amount of sweetness. The mini pain au chocolat is the perfect size for a little sweet treat and so flaky and tasty. I’ll probably be thinking about this place until my next visit. Staff was very warm and kind. Cute and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!"
"This place has simply the best matcha I’ve had in the entire Portland metro area! Their menu is focused, but every item speaks for itself and the care with which each drink is prepared is obvious. The shop is clean, centrally located in historic downtown Forest Grove, and always has people hanging out (usually students and families)! The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, and the owners are extremely sweet and friendly people who remember faces and care about the community they serve. There is a lot to love here!"
"I really wanted to like this place. The presentation was cute. However, the Terimisu latte tasted like milk, no trace of coffee nor sweetness (besides the whip cream). Even then I didn't say anything because I know Barista soemtimes take a while to perfect their craft. I took a bite off the sandwhich and it was okay until I reached the sausage, it was frozen, significantly colder than the rest of the sandwhich. I took two more bite of the sandwhich and decided I could not do it. I went to the front and was not acknowledged until I interrupted their conversation and let the employees know the sausage was cold. What I assume was the manger asked if he pulled it from the fridge or freezer. I told them it was okay and they said they were going to make me another one. They did, they did not come and check up to see how this one was or any kind of hospitality. I finally got to the sausage part and it was frozen. I debated just letting it go but the more I sat there the more annoyed I was getting. Went to the counter and again was not acknowledged until I approached their group and said, "can I just get a refund?". Long story short the sandwhich was refunded, I still haven't ate and felt like I wasted not only money on a coffee I am not going to drink but also my time..."
"Best matcha I’ve ever had! No lumps, perfectly made. Nice seating options!"
