We arrived after closing time but he still let us in and paused a project he was working on just to make us a coffee!! It made our day and now we love flag and wire even more. The breve he made was seriously the best too."

"I just had a really unpleasant interaction with the fellow working here this morning. My husband and I walked up to the front counter to order, said hello, and the gentleman waled up to the cash register, glowered at us, didn’t say a word. He just waited at the cash register silently. He seemed so annoyed with us for no reason. No quick hello or thank you. I’ve been coming here for years and never been treated so poorly. Fellow had a beanie and curly dark hair. Very off putting."

"We stayed overnight in McMinnville prior to a visit to the Evergreen Air and Space Museum. In need of coffee, we found Flag & Wire. I believe it was the best coffee I have ever tasted. Very smooth and delicious. My partner agreed that it was excellent coffee. We splurged and chose two pastries from their tiny pastry case - a marionberry danish and an apple-bourbon handpie. Both were excellent with delightful laminated pastry. We'll be back tomorrow morning!"
