from Google"The last time I was in Oceanside I got a cup of chowder from three restaurants in town. The one at the Blue Agate was my favorite! So, when I was back today, I got a bowl of clam chowder and a berry lemonade. Everything was so delicious!! Clam chowder ✅ sourdough toast ✅ berry lemonade ✅ There were berries, lemon slices and a sprig of rosemary in the lemonade, like extra touches that really added that extra “something.” My new favorite lemonade ❤️ Plus, I had a beautiful view of the ocean! All around great experience. I will be back again and again!!"
"I stopped here because I was on the west coast for a wedding. I live in the DC Metro area, and this was the first time I have ever been to Oregon. Knowing I would be within a couple hours of the coast I planned to visit the shoreline on my brief trip. During my Saturday morning in Oregon, I drove all the way out from Portland for breakfast and to see shoreline. The unique shoreline was awesome full of rocks a small cave etc...The Blue Agate's place right on the water was so awesome. The restaurant is small, but everyone was so kind, the service was great, and the food was insanely good! This trip was a nice break from the Washington DC area where life seems to be moving much faster. That morning, I had the country fried steak/eggs with potatoes. I also picked the homemade biscuit instead of toast and I 100% would do it again. The pricing was fair and compared to where I live, very cheap and inexpensive. I am not sure I will ever be in Oceanside again in my life or if I will ever have the chance to eat at this awesome place again, but if I ever am, there is no doubt I will drive 100 miles out of my way to eat breakfast here again. I would love to see what it looks like on a sunny clear day! Thank you for your top notch customer service and expert advise on what to order! You guys are awesome; I am so glad I got to experience this place, a place I would've never known existed had I not been in Oregon/Washington for a wedding."
"We ordered the bowl of clam chowder, crab grilled cheese with green salad and berry vinaigrette, and the open face crab and shrimp avocado melt with fries. The service was friendly and welcoming! Cute place for lunch although it was a little pricey. We enjoyed the chowder and the crab grilled cheese - it was crisp to perfection but could use a little more crab so it’s not overpowered by the cheese flavor. Spent around $75 with tip for 2 people!"
"I had the fish tacos. They are good and tasty. It's a small place and was busy. So we sat outside."
"Adorable little cafe. We had the crab cakes, the shrimp and crab melt, the chicken bacon melt. The apple Chantilly pesto was delicious and the sourdough bread had the most amazing cooked cheesey crust on it. Such great flavor in everything we had. I highly recommend this cute little cafe when in Oceanside!"
