What People Are Saying
from Google"A wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was delicious; started with mussels and a side of fries, the pork sugo was the clear winner of all the plates (I only wish I could have enjoyed more!), and finished it off with a yummy fig leaf ice cream sundae. Everyone here was super attentive, always making sure our glasses and belly’s were filled. The market has some great stuff too; beers, wines, chocolates, etc."
"Beautiful haute bourgeois coffee / espresso / market right next to Mt Tabor. Super staff, excellent space, great service, my mocha was spot on! They have one of the best restrooms I've ever seen in a small shop. If you're going or coming from Mt Tabor Park, this is your refreshment spot."
"Coffee or lunch at Coquine is a beautiful experience in a serene neighborhood two blocks from the stairs up the northside of Mt. Tabor. I had a delicious autogrilled hummus sandwich (vegan) for lunch. It was filled with succulent veggies and spiced up just right. For dessert, a financier in small muffin form was buttery with an amazing texture and just slightly sweet. Service friendly and casual. The market has a small selection of imported and domestic delicacies, vinegars, olive oil, spices, wine and beer ( including vintage Hair of the Dog), cheese, tinned seafood, etc. A bit of a splurge but the quality is top. I would like to return for the informal dinners, I have no doubt they are excellent."
"It is a very cute neighborhood store that sells a variety of kitchen goods, breakfast treats and coffee. It's a great spot to warm up on a cool day after walking around Mt Tabor. I loved the ginger cocoa latte. It was delicious. I'm sure the baked goods were also wonderful. Next time!"
"I came in close to closing time so I couldn’t get coffee, but the staff was super friendly and had great taste in recommending souvenirs! When I told her I was looking for something from Oregon to bring back to my family in Japan, she cheerfully gave me awesome suggestions, and I ended up finding the perfect gift. Next time, I’ll definitely come earlier and try their coffee too!"
