from Google"This place was recommended by a friend for my first time in Portland & it did not disappoint! The pizza was delicious. Some of the best I've had for sure. The dough was light & airy without being chewy. Pleasant & not too thin. It didnt feel like a chunk of bread while eating & gave way to enjoy the toppings. Perfectly crunchy crust 👌🏼 *chef's kiss* I had the golden potato two ways. Definitely recommend! Their homemade ranch was also very good. Light and refreshing. Save room for some of their ice cream too! Recommend the buckwheat honey with nuts. Its rich but not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and provided great service. A little bit of a wait to be seated (about 20mins) but it was worth it. Pizza + side of ranch & 1 scope of ice cream (no drink; only water) was $39 + tip. Not bad given everything is made fresh and in house."
"This was our first time at Lovely’s after visiting Portland several times. We had the mixed chicories salad, the rainbow chard pizza, the winter rapini pizza, and a few flavors of their ice cream. The service was great and food excellent. It’s a family friendly restaurant and the decor is very Portland. It definitely lives up to its reputation."
"What a wonderful spot. We had a pleasant experience. Got beet salad, carrot soup, and mushroom pizza. Also ordered a housemade soda and two scoops of ice cream. It was a bit of a pricier end, but we felt like the attentive service and quality of food, and the creativity were somewhat worth the price. However, wished that they offered a bit more protein to the dishes."
"When you look at the menu, It's not your normal pizza listings. It's simply delicious, we ordered the Jerusalem artichoke pizza and sundried tomatoe pizza. Both were delicious, not in your typical pizza,, hard to describe but think like an elevated Napolitan style. It's pricey but worth it-Can taste the quality ingredients."
"Everything is good about this place. Pizza tastes good, a bit crispier, crunchier, less chewy as compared to other great pizza places in town. Beers, services, ambience are all great. Except that the pizza size is only 12 inches, at $33 plus 20% tip, I think Appiza Scholls and Ken's Artisan offer better value."
