from Google & Yelp"Went here last week for my passport stamp, and it's an interesting side-trip for the optional "experiences" pages. It is completely free to come here, and it's a brief (for me, twenty minutes) tour which goes over the McMenamin's roasters history and operations. There's nothing to buy here, but you are granted a free coffee sample. Parking lot is small, and I had to park a couple of blocks away. Good, quick experience for the passport stamp."
"Limited hours, but it's so much fun to hear about their process. This was my second time through the roaster and I pick up on some new information or at least the newest blend they are trying. McMenamins always has a creative way of trying something new and unique, and they aren't afraid to show it. The workers are so knowledgeable and friendly. Love this place!"
"Wonderful learning experience. We left with so much more coffee knowledge than we had at the beginning of the tour. Would definitely recommend to all coffee lovers!"
"Excellent Coffee Tour. The gentleman that did the tour was extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee. It was easy to follow the things that he said and we were able to sample the Sumatra and Kenya blends. I Love That Mcmenamins makes the extra effort to make sure they are working with fair trade brands and no chemicals. Its so cool to learn about the ends and outs of roasting the beans and the formulas they have to follow. I had no idea all that went into making an awesome cup of coffee."
"Great roaster tour! Guide was very knowledgable and personable. I was impressed with how careful McMenamins is to make sure the coffee in their restaurants is fresh and prepared properly at the "ground" level!"
"Stopped in for a tour stamp a few weeks ago but they were closed due to a heat wave. Came by today for the 3pm tour and the garage door was open with about..."
