What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I got the coconut creme latte and it was incredible, just like the one I had in Vietnam. Amazing flavor. I also got the grilled pork banh mi it was good I only wish It had a bit more meat overall it was a 4/5"
"Portland Cà Phê is a pretty solid Vietnamese café. They brew their coffee using the traditional slow-drip phin, just like in Vietnam, and you can tell the beans are well roasted with good flavor. The space itself is bright and welcoming, with lots of natural light that makes it a nice place to sit and enjoy your coffee. Overall, a decent spot if you’re into Vietnamese coffee."
"Great vibes and natural lighting alongside very smooth authentic Vietnamese coffee roasted in house. So refreshing and delicious with a variety of iced and hot coffees. I ordered a coconut oat milk coffee latte Highly recommend their coffee drinks. We ordered their bahn mi and the meat was slightly over salted. I went to the original location two years ago and loved visiting this second cafe location! Service was neutral as the barista was not as welcoming as we got our orders taken."
"Mixed feelings on this review. Trying to be neutral here. :) The good: •Coffee is strong but smooth and delicious. Many options for how you like yours.. strong and dark, sweet, hot or cold etc. They got you. 4/5, little spendy, but delicious. •I’ve had two variations of their Bahn Mi so far. They’re alright. I’d say a 2.5/ 5. The bread is fresh and crunchy, and so is the veggies. The “spicy beef” is pretty mild, and idk, just not remarkable. I feel the sandwiches could be way better, but as is the price point is just not a good value IMO •Donuts. Buddy, this is where it’s at. Not too sweet but almost, these are chewy and delicious and a bit more of a unique pastry to have with some strong coffee. 4.5/ 5, tone done the sweetness and easily a 5 (Allowing some nuanced flavor to come out). The bad: Feel I’ve offered fair criticism of what I’ve had. I wouldn’t say anything was straight up “bad”, but, room for improvement… •Sustainability and ambience. They do have for here plates.. but not cups. Esp in Portland with a chilled drink, real bummer to see a plastic coffin for your coffee that goes straight to the bin. Don’t make me cry •Service. Courteous enough, but I wouldn’t say outwardly friendly per se. And to be fair, I appreciate a curt transaction. But after $20~ for coffee and a sando well.. just a nice thank you would do? I want to tip well for good service or courtesy, but there needs to be an attempt. Don’t need jokes or entertainment. Just convince me you’re not AI or the embodiment of a CAPTCHA"
"I really like this cafe / banh mi shop. We got the house social banh mi and the bras and filling was very good. I felt that there was not a lack of meat in the sandwich. As I came twice, I tried two different lattes. the seasonal chai socials were not too sweet, which is appreciated and the matcha was very good as well. would come back :)"
"Really enjoyed our visit to this cute cafe! Cool art on the walls, a unique menu, and a great vibe. Stopped in for a late lunch a little before closing..."
