"On a coffee tour in Portland, and this spot easily became my favorite. Abbie was at the front — super knowledgeable and generous with coffee tips. Kate had a warm smile as well. The whole team clearly cares about quality and flavor, and created such a welcoming vibe. The coffee flight offers a great way to compare their blend and single-origin beans. At $7.5 with two rounds of flights, I got some balanced profiles on espresso and drips. Love their cortado as well. The space is also aesthetically pleasing, with both seating and standing areas for hanging out a bit. I wish they offer power outlets, which could be even better. What a wonderful experience — I’ll definitely be back!"

The coffee is great, and they have amazing light roast drip coffees. The owner is usually around the shop and it really makes the difference. "Today the employees were very rude, as they are every time I’ve come in. My 6.00 8oz Latte was cold when served. My Almond Croissant was hard as a rock, could not break with a fork! To add insult to injury, it was served on a dirty plate! Under my croissant was a smudged in berry stain from the last use. My croissant had no berries in it. No apologies, or refund offered. Shame on you Sterling, you could do so much better. BEWARE!!"
