What People Are Saying
from Google"My wife and I were on a 9600 mile roadtrip in our van rv and we came across the Highwater Cafe working our way inland from the coast. Wow, the egg sandwiches were delicious as were the cappuccino and coffee with a great atmosphere and clean restrooms....when you are on the road for 6 weeks, this matters too! On the entire trip this was one of our fav breakfast stops and wish you were in New Jersey! I know, how can you mess up breakfast and an egg sandwich....well places do but this place left us with such a good memory of the flavors that home in NJ I chose to.leave a review to benefit someone else that may be driving through. Thank you again as I did thank the manager as we left."
"Ever walk into a place with good energy and comfort. This is that place! Love the open seating, and easy vibe. Deliciousness will warm your senses as you enter. Wonderful fresh menu items to give you fuel for the day. A hidden gem along Hwy 38 in Reedsport. I will be stopping by again for the fresh coffee and pastries."
"Not disappointing at all! We had an amazing breakfast with the family. The girls LOVED their food and the soups were very tasty. My tuna sandwich was toasted and hot, really good:). With no strong fishy smell.. We also enjoyed our hot Americano coffees. The place is clean and the restrooms are well maintained and very clean."
"I have gone multiple times and will definitely go again. One of my favorites is the salmon chowder, and the salads are always great. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and charming. I love the decor and how it's themed with reedsport and the dunes in mind, while being very modern, which is not common for that area. Would be a great place for studying. Parking behind building is easily accessible."
"I visited this place from the Umpqua Lighthouse State Park campsite to get some online work done. It was larger than I expected, and the interior was clean and nicely decorated, which I appreciated. However, outside of the morning hours—especially around lunchtime—it gets quite crowded, making it difficult to focus on work. I didn’t try any of the food, but the coffee was fairly average. They also rent out office space on the second floor, and I heard you can book meeting rooms by the day. For those who need Wi-Fi and a place to sit for online work, it’s a useful spot. Though it’s called a café, the menu offers a wide variety of food options."
