I had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was fine, the gravy was some water based packaged stuff and my over-medium eggs were barely over-easy (still had some raw whites) so I asked for a replacement and they were also basically raw. I only got 1 refill of coffee in the hour I was there which is just unacceptable. They had a Anthony Bourdain quite on the wall, so that's cool."

I also tried one of their cream pies for dessert... now that was amazing. The only reason I can see for some people to dislike this place is the decor. It's an older building, and it shows a bit cosmetically. To be honest, I like that a lot. Annette's made me feel at home. If you're looking for a shiny trendy restaurant, Annette's might not be the best place for you. If you just want an amazing brunch? Annette's is the place."
