During Java Journey 2025, I finally had an excuse to try the coffee shop inside Rapid 911. The barista, Ally, made me feel welcome as soon as I stepped inside. Although Rapid 911 is open to the public, it can be intimidating to go inside for the first time if you're not a first responder. "Have gone a few times now and really impressed. It’s an unexpectedly high quality coffee shop given the location, but also veterans and blue collar people love coffee too so maybe not! The staff is very friendly and there is a full menu of coffee and espresso options. Many coffee shops I go to lack the option to get a basic espresso shot, but CCR has all the basics plus a few neat options like Aerocano and Espresso Tonics. The coffee bean selection is great too. The blonde woman working let me try an espresso shot and sold me on the Golden Boys and Ethiopia beans. Been making pour overs with them and they’re delicious. Nice stop if you’re in the area.
