"I had a very positive first time experience here. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the fireplace is a plus! I ordered an iced latte with a tiny bit of homemade sugar cookie syrup as I don’t like my coffee sweet, it was perfect! Thought the coffee was delicious. The owner was personable and the staff were friendly. I also had an apple cider muffin which I thought was delicious. I loved the decor and my overall experience. Would for sure suggest checking out."

"Nicely decorated and fun atmosphere I got the January drink special Banana pudding Latte, and a mascarpone crepe. It came out to around $15, if you pay cash there’s a little discount (3% fee on card) 4 people is probably the max amount of people your group can be comfortably, the largest table seats 4. But there’s lots of chairs around for laptop work and smaller groups"

"This place was cute and I really want to like it more than I do. I went their first week of opening and they had ran out of non dairy milk which was not ideal with my partner’s sensitivity to lactose. The coffee was nothing special, but my partner said the food was very good. They seem to have a full kitchen so they can make real food like eggs, sausage, hash browns, etc. We stayed a while and studied but found we had to move by the window to access a plug. The tables are pretty tight together too. I was waiting a few months to go back and see if they got their groove yet and have nondairy options back."

"Employees were so wonderful, very kind and seemed more than happy to help. The older gentleman who was cleaning tables and delivering food was so sweet and recommended us a freshly made pumpkin scone which was delicious. Got a sandwich which clearly had quality ingredients- the tomatoes were delicious. Coffee and matcha were good, the chai was interesting-herbal and earthy. A bit crowded but the outdoor seating and huge open doors made it seem a little more open. The artwork was mostly nice, the weird AI stuff threw me off because it did not fit the vibe but I did purchase a very nice painting from a local artist they had on the wall! Overall very good experience."

"This year has been a rough year for all of us. We are divided. People are not quick to extend the best part of themselves to strangers anymore. I have been reflecting on all the good I have seen this year; the inspirational people. It was no surprise that I did not have to look further than Dunmore to find the couple who inspired me most this year. I travelled back home earlier this year. One of the places on my list to see was the new Wired and Inspired Café on the corner of Electric and Jefferson Streets in Dunmore. I went to Dunmore High School with Warren and Pam Shotto. I am terrible at keeping in touch with people, but I follow many of the folks on Facebook. Warren posted pictures of a broken-down house that he and Pam were breathing new life into and turning into a café. The moment I stepped into the Wired and Inspired Café, I felt welcome. That grew by multitudes when a man walked by me and we both did a double take, “Pam?” he said. “Warren?” I replied. We both laughed and started what was to become the most inspiring conversation I had this year. Warren is a medical professional. His life’s goal is bigger than himself, doing good for people, for strangers. Bringing the good. I will not tell the details of his story; it is his to tell. I will say he came to a place where he was not finding the inspiration in his job that once breathed life and joy into him. Instead of dwelling on the negative, he did what Northeastern Pennsylvanians do. He looked up and looked for the good. He and his wife found the good in an old run-down building. They saw beyond the garden of weeds that had taken over what was once a living space within the building. They created a vision that came to life this year. Warren and Pam bring good to the community in a new way. They created an inviting space for everyone. They bring people comfort via a homemade meal, treat, and a delicious cup of coffee. They created a space filled with Masters’ artist-inspired decor, from the Van Gogh inspired tile mosaic on the back wall of the coffee bar, to the many antique chandeliers (one even has a dangling monkey). The more time you spend there, the more you notice the creativity and sense of humor in every nook and cranny, even the bathroom. As I look back on this year, it is easy to spend time dwelling on the negativity of the year. Heck, you do not have to even look for it. Thank you, Warren and Pam, for giving me the most inspirational moment of the year. Because of you, I made shortbread and gave it to people in my neighborhood whom I do not know. I hope it brought them the same joy that your shortbread brought to me. I always knew to look for the good, you taught me to look for it and pour it back out into the community. I will continue to pay it forward. Thank you for reminding me what Northeastern Pennsylvanians do so well; when we try; we bring the good, we look for the good."
