What People Are Saying
from Google"I always have an outstanding experience at this bar. The music was exceptional, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the overall energy was unmatched. A special commendation to the bartenders for their excellent service and to the security team for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The level of hospitality here is truly top-tier."
"Super fun and safe place to go out Downtown Erie! Owners really care about the place and have great staff and DJ’s! We always have a good time!"
"Unfortunately we may have visited McCoy’s on an off night because the vibes were just not there. This seems like a cool spot when it’s busy, but it was dead when we went. We were also told that there was a dress code, so I specifically wore jeans here to adhere to that, but there were people wearing sweatpants and slides so idk if the dress code is real or not. They did have a dart machine which was cool, but it was positioned in an awkward spot where we always felt in the way. Would love to give this place another chance but yeah it was an odd experience."
"A security guard by the name of Eyvar Robles discriminated against me at the door one night out, trying to have a good time at McCoys. For a place that has a $5 cover, you would not expect this kind of treatment. If you are guy trying to go to McCoys, tread lightly, because they are out to get you. This is not the first time I have had an issue at McCoys, with no instigation on my part. Not worth the money even if you do get in, go somewhere that isn't McCoys."
"taking a star off because of the no sunglasses policy and odd interaction with security. didn’t know sunglasses weren’t allowed going in, had them on my face while i was on the dance floor and a bouncer shined a laser pointer in my face (??) from across the bar for about a minute before a security guard came up from behind me, put both hands on my shoulders (i’m a girl) and told me firmly to take them off. weird. other than that, good music, good vibes, and i like that they play music videos on a screen on the dance floor"
