from Google"If Erie, PA had a magazine highlighting reasons to visit or live there, Mighty Fine Donuts would be front-page material, easily a top-five feature. This place is as close to the perfect donut shop as you’ll find. The donuts are incredibly flavorful, moist (never dry!), and the variety is impressive, there’s truly something for everyone. The service is just as sweet as the treats. The folks behind the counter are some of the friendliest around, making the experience even better. Parking was a breeze with spots right out front, and we were in and out in just 5 minutes. Honestly, I would’ve bought way more if they kept longer! If you’re ever passing through Erie, this is an absolute must-stop."
"A local recommended your shop and we're so happy we listened! So far, we've sampled a cinnamon pinwheel, the coconut, the maple and bacon, the pb& chocolate & the cherry. It's so difficult to decide which is our favorite; we'll have to return! The service was fantastic - just the right amount of helpful friendliness. We enjoyed looking at all the murals in the neighborhood."
"Amazing donuts. Very fresh, tons of options, and so so good! We didn't get there until 10:45am, and I was afraid the variety would be sparse but I was wrong. They were still stocked with fresh delicious donuts and fry cakes. The staff was very friendly. They also sell other baked goods such as cookies and pepperoni bread and coffee. It's just a take out place, so there aren't any tables. So worth the slight detour on our way to Presque Isle."
"We found Mighty Fine Donuts while searching for coffee shops on Maps. Since Guides can be pretty critical, we were impressed to see so many glowing reviews and a solid 4-star rating -- so we hopped in the car to check it out. The case was full of tempting choices, and everything looked amazing. The maple cream donut was absolute heaven -- the glaze had just the right touch of maple to balance the thick, tender dough. The edges were perfectly crispy, and the texture was unlike any donut I've ever had. The glazed twist was equally delicious. The coffee was very good, though a little too hot to enjoy right away. The only real downside was the lack of seating -- no tables or chairs inside, despite the large open lobby, and no benches outside either. We ended up eating in the car. That said, the donuts were so good we went back in for more. Definitely worth the stop! It was so good, we brought friends with us the following morning because donuts this good need to be shared with friends. And best of all...maybe prices were insanely cheap!!! No wonder people were walking out with two and three dozen..."
