"Second time here. Burgers are the best in town! Very cool, historic, dimly lit tavern style bar. Feels like stepping back in time! Parking can be a pain....look for parking up around Tip-Top Kitchen and the Buckeye Bourbon Bar."

"Got a chance to perform here and had a great time being a part of the grande opening for KD's local book and art store! Check out the new site and support the local creatives that will hopefully be frequenting this new site."

"Well, I have to say that the all-lawyer band The Barristars and Jack Stevenson and the Buried Treasure Band really rocked the house on Thanksgiving eve 2022! The “Skellar” is a great venue! They have an excellent selection of beer and wine and spirits, and they serve great bar food as well. Fans packed the place and had one hell of a time! Thank you, Rathskeller!!!"

"I love the new overall atmosphere. And I love the live music. I have yet to try their food, but I am looking forward to getting the opportunity. I used to shoot pool, eat some bar food, have a stiff drink, and perform regularly in an acoustic act here when it was Gaslight. I won't deny I miss those days and the "regulars" I got to hang out with. It felt kind of like a home away from home. The new atmosphere is very clean with great decor, but I just don't feel as welcome as I used to. I MIGHT return some Friday in the future when they have live musiC (maybe try the food). Hopefully, I will be welcomed by the staff, or at least not ignored entirely.... There were two female bartenders, the band was packing up, and there weren't many people asking for drinks but I was not acknowledged whatsoever by either girl ( despite making eye contact). After waiting much longer than I should have, I decided to leave as I felt almost uncomfortable. The customers did not seem too welcoming either to be honest."

"My husband and I stopped with our Harley. Looking around, we noticed it was all old people ( my hubby and I are in our early 60's) service was o.k. The owner was grumpy. We drank our beer and left. Would not recommend especially if your riding a motorcycle and are under 62 y.o."
