"This place is an absolute gem hidden in the County Courthouse on the ground floor. We were just driving through town for a quick trip and I seen this establishment on Google. I must say the reviews don't do this small family owned business justice. The staff are the most friendly and kind people we had the pleasure of encountering. The food itself is beyond words for how delicious everything was. I ordered the whiting fish sandwich with fries along with a side of Baked Mac and the banana pie pudding. Not a single item disappointed it actually blew my expectations out the water especially the baked Mac. Coming from down south it's been hard to find quality baked mac here in P.a and S. A. Soul Cafe did the thing felt like I was back south eating some homemade cheesy goodness. All in all S. A. Soul Cafe is in my personal opinion the absolute best Soul food you can find in the Harrisburg area. If you or anyone you know in the area is ever looking for quality homemade Southern style Soul Food this is the spot to go. P.s the food was to good to wait that's why half my sandwich is eaten 😋"

The sweet potatoes were the definition of comfort: fork-tender, naturally sweet, with a whisper of cinnamon and brown-sugar butter that glazed rather than overwhelmed. "The food was pretty dope, not gonna lie. Audrey however, who I believe is the owner? Has a downright horrible attitude. From the time I’ve been there I’ve seen her treat her employees like complete trash. Really really weird behavior. Very strange. The food is good, but unfortunately not worth supporting this business because it’s clear her employees are suffering. Audrey, you reap what you sow. ♡ ♡ ♡"
