from Google & Yelp"Amazing new game cafe downtown! Never even knew it was there and its a little nerd paradise. Awesome place to study or chill during the day. Has a ton of graphic novels to purchase and a wall of great boardgames. Coffee and desserts are great too. Try the jasmine tea! Service is so nice. They sell mtg cards at the register and have a fun commander night everyweek on Fridays. Often has dnd games going on or other nerdy activities."
"For the most part we had a great experience. I love the idea of a cute hang out spot to sip coffee, read a book or play a game with your spouse or a friend. They have a huge book and game selection. The only thing is that it isn't super cozy and the tables aren't very private if your hoping to get a more fun date in. Like the tables are all pretty close together etc. But I had a delicious latte and we had fun playing games as well! Wish there was more cafes like this around. Another plus is they are open till 9:00PM weekdays and 10:00PM Weekends which is uncommon for coffee shops so that is a huge perk!"
"Fantastic shop, the bakery and cafe have a great selection at reasonable prices. The staff are amazing and are truly passionate about comic books and board games, they will happily help you find something in their libraries (games or books) that is right for you. The atmosphere is somehow both open and cozy/comfortable. There are multiple ways to cover your table cost, either through: just purchasing a day pass, or by purchasing a book and picking up a complimentary day pass that way, or by grabbing a monthly subscription (which comes with other perks!) 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back!"
"cute place vibe wise! the prices for the board game rental fee isn’t bad at all ($5 a person). however, i have been here two times so far and both of my drinks were mediocre at best — watered down strawberry matcha and an overly foamy “biscoff” latte which tasted like biscoff whispered at it at most?? also spent a solid dollar trying to get one of the toy capsule machines to work for my little sister and nothing came out — they just shoved it off with a “the machines are old.” come here for the board games, not drinks or food."
"Super wonderful and friendly owners! Visited the cafe for the first time today and was met with a very warm welcome and had a really cool conversation with Matt about everything to do with anime and manga! While there I bought a copy of Berserk, but had left it there after leaving. Matt was kind enough to leave an email after I left, while i assume he got from my receipt. These guys and their bookstore are incredibly beautiful, I’m definitely recommending this place to everyone I know and come across!"
