"This was my first time ever visiting Salt & Sugar and I absolutely loved it!!! The texture and flavor of the beef and cheese empanada was delicious and had a sweet and salty taste to them. Everyone must try them! The decorations at the shop adorable and the owner Nicole was so sweet. Also, learning about her background allowed me to understand her and her purpose. I learned that the empanadas originate from the Dominican Republic as well as the rice pudding and flan. The macaroons she learned to make originate from France and matcha originates from Japan. There are many other flavored empanadas to try as well as tasty drinks. I am glad I had the opportunity to stop by this beautiful shop and learn about Nicole and try the tasty food."

"Super cute place with delicious empanadas! Their empanadas are actually stuffed and not filled with air. The strawberry matcha latte was so good and I finished it within minutes. Heads up that the inside is relatively small but has a seating area. Definitely a place I’d visit every time I’m in the area!!"
