"What a find! Cozy inviting atmosphere draws you in and beckons you to sit and stay awhile. The baked goods are scrumptious with vegan and gluten free options. A vegan pumpkin black bean soup was on offer till 2pm, I was sad we just missed it. Can’t wait to try it another day. Sugar free (they have multiple syrup flavors) coffee and peach tea energized us. Super fun outdoor seating overlooks the river. What a perfect spot to spend a sunny Indian Summer afternoon. The staff wrapped us in kindness and ensured that this coffee shop is our new favorite. The River Fog is my all-time favorite and the Summer Sunrise is perfect when you want something light and refreshing! Their bagels are fresh and delicious, and it’s nice knowing that every visit supports local businesses. "If I could give this place seven stars, I would. It's not just that it's local, or that the interior is absolutely gorgeous. It's not simply that the staff is incredibly welcoming, or that the entire establishment exudes a bright, charming, almost familial atmosphere. It's that my daughter has truly found a second family there. She brings her friends whenever she's saved enough to treat them, and it's become a genuine goal for her to visit as often as possible. They feel safe, secure, and completely at home there, and I love that. I wish this business all the best and will do everything I can to support them. "I was in town for an event and had time to kill. I found this adorable coffee shop that had seating. I parked and put enough money for 2 hrs. I got a large specialty drink that was so delicious. I chose a small table out of the way to set up my laptop to do some studying. There were several tables open with ample seating. I overheard a worker tell someone "people just bring their laptops and set up shop for the day, I mean I guess they buy something but .....geez". I was so embarrassed. I froze and debated confrontation or dignity. I gathered my stuff up and left. I checked the meter and had an hour and 20 minutes left. There was myself and one other guy doing work. He also chose a small space out of the way. 😡 Am I wrong, or isn't this what most coffee shops are for?!"
