"Wow, what wasn’t beautiful about this restaurant? The ambiance is cozy and sexy, and the excitement for your meal starts as soon as you walk in. We unfortunately didn’t get anything to drink, but the cocktail/beverage menu looked so so good - next time, I definitely gotta try the Corsican Express martini. They also served some delicious complimentary olive oil and bread. I got the special pasta of the night - corzetti della valpolcevera with marjoram, pine nuts, and mushrooms. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the chewiness went perfectly with the crunch of the pine nuts. The staff was very nice too. Cannot wait to come back!"

"This place is fantastic. Two miles from our crib to Mediterranean brunch and drinks with a great bartender and chill atmosphere. We did the Sunday brunch, tried the Hotel Cala cocktail, along with a spicy margarita, had the omelette and the Corsican breakfast, followed that with a chocolate ganache. All of it wonderful. Came back for the burger and the fennel salad with swordfish medallions. Amazing. We’re hooked on Bastia. Obv. So glad to find this place so close to home."

"This was a really special brunch experience and the food was exceptional. The parfait was perfect - sour, creamy homemade yogurt, mint, and sweet crunch granola. It was spicy, sweet, creamy. The Corsican breakfast was great and very different. Finally, the pancakes were great - the cinnamon was powerful, fresh. This was a great meal and I will make an excuse to come again!"

"Cute restaurant by the pool with a charming atmosphere and great food. We went there for brunch and enjoyed it a lot. The omelette was especially delicious. And they have a nice list of nonalcoholic cocktails. The service was excellent I have to say and made our afternoon very enjoyable. I’d definitely come back to try more of their food and soak up the sun."

"I think this is one of the best hidden gems in Philly! I’ve been twice now and have never been disappointed. The cocktails are incredible, and the swordfish brochettes with pesto and black rice…one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Their fresh pastas are incredible and perfect for sharing as an app. Dare I say their version of an espresso martini is the best I’ve had? I love that it’s not vodka based. We have sat at the bar both times & have had lovely conversations with the bartenders, who are very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve never felt rushed and the overall vibe is elevated while comfortable. This is a spot I will keep coming back to!"
