"It was a party of 5 I had the chicken and waffles the chicken was not seasoned and the Belgian Waffle did not taste done but it was not hot so they may have contributed to the taste, my niece had banana foster French toast, she tasted it and packed it to go, my sister has the salmon cake and potatoes she said the salmon cake was dry and she asked for peppers and onions they were not sautéed, my nephew had the seafood and grits, they did not have the salmon so they gave him two pieces of fish, he ate the lobster and shrimp not the rest, my other nephew had red velvet pancakes he is the only one that actually enjoyed his food. While we did not care for the food the service was exceptional our waiter was very attentive I do not know his name I think he gave his name before I arrived a older gentleman. The food presentation was good. Gratuity was also automatically included in the check. My niece visited the location in Mt Airy and said the food was better at that location."

"I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The presentation of the food was great, but the taste didn’t match—it was overwhelmingly salty. It felt like the chef got carried away with the salt shaker. To make matters worse, our server waited until after bringing the check to mention that the card machine was down. Only after realizing I’d need to leave and get cash did he finally offer Apple Pay. That should’ve been communicated upfront. This was my first and definitely my last visit. A nice-looking plate doesn’t make up for poor flavor and a lack of transparency. Hopefully, the chef eases up on the salt and the service improves."

"The food was amazing!! Everything was seasoned to perfection. Nothing was left on my plate. The atmosphere is classy and it was clean. Joseph was our waiter and he was great. The young man who collected our plates and provided our drinks was extremely sweet & polite! Keep up the great job kid!"

"I took my mom here on Friday, and we liked it. We left the house early in the morning for an appointment and didn’t have breakfast, so we were looking for a place with a simple breakfast menu. We Googled nearby spots and chose this place. It’s very quaint-nice and cozy. We ordered the seafood omelette, and it was delicious. My mom really enjoyed her omelette since it wasn’t overly seasoned or salty (she has hypertension, so we’re very mindful of where we eat). The staff were nice as well. We will definitely be back to support this mom-and-pop restaurant. I did read the reviews, and from what I can decipher, some people seem to be expecting fine dining rather than a small local business. If you’re looking for a quick and decent breakfast, I’d say give this place a try."

"This place was simply amazing. The food was beyond my expectations. I am snobbish when it comes to fish and grits and I was in the mood for some fish and grits. The fish was hot fresh and delicious, I savored every bite, the grits had the right consistency and did not disappoint great compliment to the fish. I am full and still want to stuff my face as this food sent me to my happy place. The attendant was thoughtful and attentive. The music and vibes were mellow and I will be dining here again."
