"I come here all the time since I work in a connected building, and their coffee is superb. I’ll make a special trip in the morning just to get my coffee from Bower because it’s consistently good. For pastries, I usually get them through Too Good To Go, and they’re honestly not that impressive. I know they’re older and kept in the fridge, so some staleness is expected, but the flavors tend to be overly sweet without much depth. And if you don't get donuts specifically in your bag, you get a lot of fully broken pastries and lots of crumbs rather than full sized items. It’s hard to balance sweetness with actual flavor, and these just don’t quite pull it off. Their bear claws, though, are solid and probably the one pastry I’d actually recommend. Service is always quick and everyone who works here is really nice. I never have to wait long, even during busier hours. The building itself is great too, with plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe. Overall, a reliably good spot for coffee and a comfortable place to hang out."

"Had a great meal after my family members appointment. Avocado toast, a slammin breakfast sammie and probably the best cappuccinos I've had in West Philly. Thankfully I don't frequent the hospital much but I will definitely be back. Way better than anything Starbucks can give you in terms of food, coffee, and service. Not sure if it's always as busy as it was when we popped in (there was a bit of a wait but nothing unusual for a rush). Good job Bower and Bower crew. I'll see you folks in 2026!"
