"Was invited to join friends who knew this restaurant and wow! So glad I got to enjoy it myself. I felt transported as soon as I entered this lively and vibrant venue, in the midst of Philly Old Town. Our lively server was knowledgeable and efficient. QThe dishes were so savory! They have an atmospheric seating area on the second floor, and smaller rooms for small groups. Check out there Saturday night dance nights and New Year’s Eve offerings! "We visited Cuba Libre after a Lyft driver recommended it to us — and wow, what an amazing suggestion. The décor is absolutely beautiful, full of character and tropical charm. We went during a quieter time and sat at the upstairs bar, which made the experience even better. Our bartender was incredibly friendly and attentive. The cocktails were outstanding — we love trying new drinks, and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the coconut mojito first, and it was delicious. She then recommended another cocktail with a fruity touch, and that one was just as good. My husband tried an Old Fashioned and a classic mojito, both of which he loved. Even when they were having a small issue with the heating, our bartender apologized so kindly and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Her service was truly excellent. We had just eaten elsewhere, so we only tried the cocktails this time, but everything was so good that we can’t wait to come back specifically to try the food. Highly recommended — 100%. We’ll definitely be returning."

"The environment and restaurant looked amazing with such an incredible vibe. The flavors of everything from the appetizers were incredible. I was very disappointed with the portion of my brisket dish. It looked half eaten, took about 3 bites to finish. For almost $35 it left a lot to be desired and there was barely much meat there, mostly onions and garlic with a hint of meat every now and then. Other than that this place was great"

"Wow!! What an excellent discovery made on a Tuesday night during Restaurant week. Plantain chips, salsa, garlic shrimp didn't disappoint. My red snapper meal was the BOMB. The flan ended the evening beautifully. We will return soon."
