"Went for lunch yesterday. The pros: I had sushi which they made fresh bc what I wanted they didnt already have made. 10/10. The guys behind the counter was so nice. Everyone was helpful. I didn't have a problem getting around in my wheelchair either. The cons: a bit overpriced. I don't mind paying for quality but I had a strawberry shortcake that was $10 - it was very small and it was horrible. No flavor hardly any strawberries, it was crumbly and just flavorless. I was disappointed and ended up tossing it. Everything else in the case looked dry as well. I also would have liked to experience the restaurant upstairs but they are only open from 5-7pm a couple days per week and I wasn't willing to be in center city that late. So I'm giving stars for the customer service, sushi and the overall ambiance. The bakery wasn't good and the restaurant has very limited hours."

"I have used Di Bruno Bros for Christmas gifts for several years, but this will be the last year. I placed my order ant the end of October for a Christmas delivery of three gifts. when I didn't receive a shipment notification at the end of the chosen ship week I tried to call customer service and after an automated message to hold it was 45 minutes when I finally hung up. I tried replying to the order email for their AI assistant Danny to tell me my order was cancelled... the original order was cancelled and replaced by three orders, but Danny didn't find those. After replying to that email, I was assured by Annie that they were being packed and shipped and would arrive by Christmas. fast forward to the 22nd and I am still being assured they will be there by Annie and Lyle. Two of the three were delivered on 12/24, but I received an email saying the third one would not be delivered and I was offered a refund or a store credit with 10%. The audacity of this is shameful. Don't sell more than you can fulfill, don't lie to your customers, and own your mistakes as a business. A refund on Christmas Eve is useless and why would I want a store credit?? to make matters worse... when they were delivered they contained products with old sell by dates. It is sad that this business has changed so much since being acquired."

"my husband is an upscale chef + recently introduced me to the world of cured meats, and then I learned about how many types of cheese exist, and then we tried their meatballs parm which was the best one I had in the city thus far. 🎮 pokemon go players 🎮 I recommend sitting + eating or at least keep it open while visiting, perfect location for spinning. @mossyclowns"

"By far the best place in Philly to get the true, authentic Italian-style gelato. The pistachio flavor has the right taste and color. I always have a hard time choosing which flavor to get as all of them are incredibly delicious. Honestly, this is the only place I think of now when I want ice cream."

"I love Di Bruno Bros! They have a wide range of specialty products from Italy and other foreign countries. The cheese is so good. I also love their sandwiches and pizza - you really can’t go wrong. To top it all off, the staff is extremely friendly. Shoutout to Melvin for being welcoming, positive, and helpful at the register!"
