What People Are Saying
from Google"I went to Dock Street South last night, first of all I have to comment on the band. They were outstanding. But regardless of that, the sound system was set at the right volume where comfort and conversation are the primary concern so great job on that that's very unusual to find! Really nobody wants to scream and not be able to talk the point of going out is to talk to people. It seems like a nice family friendly environment, more so than the original Dock Street and the West Philly. So the issue is, the beer, mixed drinks, food and service were all amazing! I'd highly recommend, I've been going to Dock Street since the 80s and it's great to see it continue to thrive!"
"Nice venue with a good selection of quality beers. Food options looked (and smelled) good too. Unfortunately I had already eaten before coming here. The bartender, David, was very knowledgeable and super helpful. No flights but 4oz pours of all beers were available."
"Went for the first time for “survivor night” on Wednesday, which was so fun! The drinks were great and they have such a cute space. There is a pool table, darts, plenty of board games, and 2 separate large rooms with tables for eating/drinking. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back to try some food, the pizza looks incredible!"
"The atmosphere was nice, chill, and friendly. The food was good! We ordered a cheeseburger and fries, a skirt steak salad that had an amazing balsamic mustard vinaigrette, as well as the brick oven cheese pizza. We ordered The Art Degree & Her Sisters a Witch as our drinks and they were both very tasty! Over all I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Good place to hang with friends for a chill vibe."
"Mmmmm. Beer! Tried the Docktoberfest and one other amber beer (the name escapes me…) The food came out quick and was really good. Best fries and boneless wings I have had in a while! (Too hungry to take a “BEFORE” pic!)"
