What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"So disappointed. I went to Starbucks and check prices and I thought this could be better option. So wrong. At least in Starbucks ypu know what to expect. The young lady gave me 2 free cookies, because I waited too long, she was nice. And the cookies were ok."
"First, we loved the place. I gave the atmosphere a '4' because while Gia Pronto is geared to quick meals/take outs, not formal dining, the manager was marvelous. When I give a '3' for small restaurants/pizza shops it's often not a criticism. In this case, here's what drove the '4': I asked the manager about the pizza dough, which we loved, and she explained that they make there own. Next she told me it's a family owned business, not a chain. I was hooked, because all my life I've worked mostly for family-owned businesses. Then, as it was late and they were closing, she sent us home with some pizza and sandwiches, gratis. Now on to the good stuff: We really enjoyed the food. Between myself, wife and daughter, we had several different types of pizza. All were flavorful with a great crust and exactly the right amount of toppings. Down the road, after I recover from some medical issues, I'll be able to go there again. I'm looking forward to it. (Pizza: Yet another reason to keep fighting when life throws you a curve, especially when you're getting said pizza from this restaurant). Gio Pronto: Thanks for your outstanding hospitality and the terrific food. This was not a great day for me, but you turned it around quite a bit! God Bless and have a wonderful Christmas! ---James"
"This place is genuinely really bad. I don’t complain or leave bad reviews but this is the only way I’m able to contact. The first time I ate here there was a huge bug in my salad. Tried to call, no answer. The tried to email, got an error that said “email inactive” so this is what I have resorted to. The salad that I did eat before I saw the bug was bland and not good. Second time I went I said ok I won’t eat a salad I’ll get a panini. i get the sandwich chicken Italiano and it looks like it was literally just a old piece of chicken tender on a roll. No spinach barely any cheese, 15 bucks. Coffee was ok not worth 6 dollars. I’ll never come back here and honestly none of my co workers will either 🤢"
"Skip them and go to Starbucks next door for tea latte. My London Fog tea latte was basically a giant cup of hot water and a teabag with a tiny bit of milk foam squirted on top that is not how to make a latte overpriced for basically hot water. They also put no vanilla and no honey or sweetener in it as is the recipeeven though I specifically gave them the recipe and she said yes, we can make that and the barista had a smirk on his face and didn’t do it so I wouldn’t pay money there again."
"Where is the sauce on my pizza??? The bread was great-thin & crispy. I enjoyed it because of the added garlic powder, parmesan cheese & pepper seeds. But, the sauce was dried out."
"Even for Philadelphia, *shockingly* horrible service, waited almost twenty minutes for cold pizza because they apparently forgot we were here?"
